Yea it's really hard to make it. I think my stuff needs a great bit of improving but others say it's stupendous already. My style of writing, action and adventure; is no longer popular anyway. My style is close to the books I read as a kid and teens. Narnia, Spiderwick Chronicles, the Golden Compass, Game of Thrones, The Last Magician, and my favorite two book series, the Rangers Apprentice and the chronicles of Vladimir Tod.
Of course the most popular books nowadays is semi fictional, alt reality series featuring female leads that start off weak but become powerful, and a hunk for a secondary lead. Twilight, Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, Divergent, Vampire Academy, and so on.
