I used to live in Mexico City, at Calle Via Lactea 146, Colonia Prado Churubusco, Mexico DF. That was long ago.

I also lived at Alfonso Alarcon #6, Circuito Puericultores, Ciudad Satellite, Edo de Mex. That was a few years later. I went to Hamilton School in Las Lomas, just off Reforma. In October '68 the Tlatelolco massacre occurred and some older brothers and sisters of my classmates were never seen again. The army burned the bodies in a federal compound not far from El Toreo. We rode by it on the bus every day going to school.

When I was 15 we moved from Mexico City to San Luis Potosi. It was like going back in time to 12th century Sicily. I was forced to wear a school uniform at a christian all-girls school. Thankfully, I soon discovered psychedelic drug culture and ran away from home.

Looking back, I wouldn't change anything. Mahalo.

Saludos.
