An important message from the Regional government of Altay:

Currently, your region is on a list of those who subscribe to our propaganda. That includes notifications about Altaic anniversary and Army day, receiving of posters, commemorative postcards and Altay countryballs content, receiving of regional newspapers and our citizens' dispatches and factbooks. If you wish to unsubscribe from any one of the above mentioned things, or if you wish to get notified about any one of our other holidays (conviniently listed in a dispatch below), just let us know. If the Regional government decides to start distributing some content we aren't distributing yet, you are automatically on the list of subscribers to that particular content, unless you have decided to unsubscribe from all propaganda. You will be able to unsubscribe right away. The same goes for notifications about any future state holidays but only if you subscribe to notifications about all state holidays.

"illegal conversion" what would be a legal conversion? While ı disagree with the decision to turn Haghia Sofia back into a mosque, mostly because it's an ancient historical relic that should be preserved rather than used, it's legally under Turkish sovereignty thus whatever we do it is legal. And if you're talking about the UN's view (not going to call it law because they have no way of enforcing it) as far as I know it only becomes an issue if the historic building is defaced or destroyed and that hasn't happened to Haghia Sofia.

Hagia Sophia was a church, Turkey has no right to convert it into a mosque. This will bring the downfall of Turkey.

Turkey is islamizing the nation and sending a signal to the world and Christian nations that led by Erdogan, they will continue to trample upon the rights of the Christians to recover the Hagia Sophia in erstwhile Constantinople and restore it's glory as a Church of Jesus Christ.

The progressive Turkey of Kemal Ataturk is lost.

My friend, You have conveniently skirted the real issue at large. Hagia Sofia was a Church originally. It was forcibly converted by the Ottomans to a mosque. Attaturk converted it to a museum, no doubt as you say as a diplomatic initiative.
But the moot point is Erdogan's move to convert it completely to a mosque.
It is an act of international terrorism akin to the blasting of the Bamiyan Buddha images in Afghanistan by the Taliban.

Hagia Sophia is was and will be a Church. I appeal to the Turkic Union to rein in their citizens who resort to unparliamentary words for their diplomatic counterparts from other regions.
