Dear Friends,
It seems to have come and gone in a flash, but here are at the end of the Tenth Cabinet’s Term in Office, under the Forest Keepership of Chan island. It is my deep pleasure and honor to announce that the next Election Season has now begun.
The Election Season will last for the remainder of September, during which time citizens of Forest will put their names forward to run for Forest Keeper, our region’s chief executive position, and the one who will name the members of the Eleventh Cabinet of Forest for the Term in Office spanning from approximately the beginning of October until March 16th, 2022.
Today marks the beginning of our biannual election process, which is the official dismissal of the outgoing regional government. I’d like to take this moment to express my thanks and appreciation for everyone in the Tenth Cabinet, especially Chan island. The government has done a lot to move our region forward, as 
Mozworld has summarized very well in the latest Transparency Report, and we have several good things going on multiple fronts.
During the Election Season, Forest’s interim “government” will comprise several Election Officers, who are empowered with Communications (for quality control of the RMB) and Border Control (in case of more serious shenanigans). I’m very grateful that

Terrabod, 
Ownzone, 
Middle Barael, and Daarwyrth have volunteered to be Election Officers, along with Chan island, who is our (purely ceremonial) Esteemed Election Officer, in recognition of their leadership of the region during the last Term in Office.
The sign-up poll for Forest Keeper Nominations is now open. Anyone who wants to run in the Election for Forest Keeper should respond “Yes” to the poll. Everyone else is free to respond “No” as a way of participating, but you do not need to do anything with this poll if you don’t want to run. Voting in the actual election is not contingent on voting in this sign-up poll.
On that note, those who are eligible to vote in the Forest Keeper Elections are those listed below in the Roster of Voters, who are World Assembly residents of Forest as of the initiation of the Election Season:

So the province I live in here in Canada made a very bold decision a while ago. Over the summer, I guess they looked at Florida, saw the amount of money being made there, and decided to ignore Covid for a few months, just in time for a particular rodeo (with an overall attendance over 500,000). This means no restrictions Covid restrictions province wide. Well, now we're averaging well over 1k new cases a day (and still rising), and I've just received a phone alert a few minutes ago. We are now in a state of emergency. Good work guys, I'm sure this will go over well with people next election cycle.

4.3.iv.: "Open a poll for the duration of one week with all nations in Forest eligible to vote. The poll will be entitled "Do you want to run to be the Forest Keeper?" and will have two options: "Yes" and "No". Further explanation of all polls by the Head of State is permissible, at the Head of State's discretion."
Quite right, LD! Thank you for pointing that out. Just to clarify for everyone, you can run for Forest Keeper whether or not you are in the World Assembly, but voting in the actual election for it (i.e. after Campaign Week) is restricted to the list that I created, which was the list of WA nations in Forest at the time.
I have recreated the poll, and now all residents of Forest may vote. Sorry about that, everyone! Please vote again if you did so already (especially Einswenn and Roless!).
