I argue, admittedly with bias (go figure what religion I am), that Israel does indeed have these things. The borders are secure, with 1.5 million men to make sure it stays that way. The Knesset, the Israeli parliament, is stable. And they engage in diplomatic talks with a multitude of countries. Palestine has secure borders, a bad (but existent) government, and is recognized by some semi-major countries.
Israel, and Palestine can both exist peacefully (Gaza is theirs, and we split the Western Bank). Muslims, Christians, and Jews aren’t so different. So let’s not take random jabs at each other.

Israel does not have secure borders though. West Bank is disputed, claimed by both Palestine and Israel. Heck, I'm a Christian and I support a Palestinian state. But yeah, I do think they can exist peacefully, however Palestine should be recognised as a legitimate state.

But Israel's borders are recognized and excepted (obviously with exceptions). We control the West Bank. They can claim it all they want, they can't do jack about it. When HAMAS stops launching Scud Missiles and killing people, we'll fork over Gaza and some of the Western Bank (they keep their quarter of Jerusalem). I argue that both have a right to exist. We want a home, and they want to keep the land.

I guess. However, international bodies have acknowledged Palestine as a state, and that they exist, which is almost a contradiction.

But Palestine has 149 nations that recognize it and Israel has 169.

Also at its peak Israel had 177 recognizing nations and Palestine is at its peak now. Palestine is not an official member of the U.N, they are a NON-member observer state of the U.N.Since that is your basis Palestine is not a country.... yet. I do agree though that they should have a country of their own.

The Palestinians should have a state of their own, and Israelis as well.

I’m glad this didn’t devolve into a horrific argument. That’s the way discussions of Palestine vs. Israel usually go.

Hello, Everyone! I'm not new to Nation States by any means(as you'll probably tell rather quickly by the sheer size of my Nation) Though, its been a solid 2-3 years since I touched the game in any significant way, but I'm looking to get back into it and this new region looked really interesting! I'm gonna be joining the discord ASAP, and I look forward to getting to know, and roleplay with the gentlemen, ladies, and everyone outside of and inbetween those labels.

Pretty sure after the Roman Republic fell it became the Roman Empire henceforth making Octavian “Augustus” Caesar the Emperor of Rome... please correct me if I am wrong though (preferably with proof of me being wrong)

So it was a monarchy? (For a decent period of time at least)

I mean, is there that much of a difference between an empire and a monarchy? Plus, Caesar styled himself as a pseudo-emperor, but Augustus, or perhaps even Tiberius was the first to use the term Emperor (Or the latin equivalent) (Imperator?)

And Rome was a monarchy for a decent amount of time, from Romulus to Tarquin. Then, the people removed Tarquin and replaced him with the Senate.

Sadly, I don’t know much about ancient and late-Roman history. I prefer to learn about the world wars, or the mini-wars leading up to them. As well as the proxy-wars fought between the US and USSR.

Fair enough. It is a bit messy though.
