The vote to join the Convened New Order (CNO) will likely be a close decision from the eternally absent UPA's lack of showing up. I shall give a short explanation. The CNO is an international cultural and defense coalition designed to bring regions together for diplomacy, discussion and safety both internal and external. The only thing we sacrifice is a small election every 6 months to elect four officials. We may pull out at any time, with no consequences. There are only positives here. I urge a vote for the bill.
1. a. Makes the Slide Countries a member of the Convened New Order (CNO).
b. Prohibits the Slide Countries from going to war with any CNO member region under the Declaration of War Act 09/09/20 until such a time that this bill is repealed.
c. Denotes that the repeal of this bill will withdraw the Slide Countries from the CNO, and that all citizens of the Slide Countries may be allowed to publicly call for the repeal of this bill and a
regional officer must put a regional vote which, if passed by a majority will repeal this bill immediately.
2. Mandates that at least one representative of the Slide Countries is present in the CNO discord at all times.
3. a. In accordance with the CNO's rules, due to our size, four representatives from the region are to be sent to the CNO assembly every six months.
b. They shall be elected, with the first election being five days after the passing of this bill. Candidates may stand under a party, or independently, which will have no standing on their
position.
They must announce themselves publicly three days before the election which shall be held by a regional poll, with the top four candidates being sent to the assembly on discord.
