The biggest thing you can do if you want to see a WA proposal be approved is send out an informative telegram to the World Assembly Delegates on why you feel they should approve it, or just post why in the WA Proposals thread for that proposal on the forum.

If there is a certain proposal you want me to approve please tell me which one and why.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the General Assembly has been at a stand still for quite while, and now there is no resolution for the Security Council. Usually resolutions would be followed-up with a new one immediately after the voting ends. I'm willing to bet this has something to do with the failed attempt at condemning The Communist Bloc.

A little while ago, I ran an experiment with a new nation, and in the process moved it to The Communist Bloc. Let me tell you, everyone there was in an uproar over this Condemnation. Even though it did not go through (because The Communist Bloc and their allies voted against it) they were still bitter that such a resolution was even proposed.

Since that incident, I assumed that the WA Members in the Communist Regions stopped taking an active part in the World Assembly. Because they make up a good portion of the WA, proposals aren't getting approved anymore.

But who knows, that's just my guess.

Change is always happening in Nationstates! Whether it’s a new Delegate, Government Leader, or even an era. Here in St Abbaddon, we are seeing a little bit of both. Today, Stratocratic-Anarchy Oceanic Empire will be departing the administration. While their loss leaves a gaping hole, Oceanic will still be here in our community! This opens up a new chapter in our Foreign Affairs department, and any individual who wishes to apply for this prestigious role. It will take some time to fill this important role with someone who embodies the St Abby tradition, and spirit of our community as Oceanic has. Therefore, he will be awarded the Hawkswind Second Class Medal for his accomplishments! He played a major role in myself joining this community, and government. He made me feel welcome when The Free Nations Region didn’t, and I couldn’t be anymore grateful for that. He was a great member who always offered the best advice! St Abbaddon will continue our revitalization project in this post Topid era! Our time is now, and we will continue writing this important chapter in our history!!

Hawkswind Citation Medals

St Abbaddon is one of the most historical regions all around Nationstates. There have been many heroes have come, and gone throughout our long history. One of those in particular was our dear friend, Hawkswind! While he isn't active today, he is remembered for his sacrifices, and dedication to our region. Therefore the Elders, and many leaders in our region feel it's only fitting to create the Hawkswind Citation Medals Award! This will be the highest award that a citizen can be awarded. To earn one of these 3 medals, the receiptant must possess the qualities of leadership, dedication, hard working, and have the heart of the region in their best interest. Any current Elder who is sitting on the Supreme Council may nominate an individual, and then the whole Supreme Council must vote in favor to approve the nomination. That individual then may display it in a factbook entry, or even as a streamer. Finally their name will be recorded here in this factbook as a member of this exclusive club! As we always say, and as it is mentioned in our WFE, "Forever Remembering Hawkswind"!

I was in FNR before I came here. I just spoke up for the position I’m in back in August because we needed people. And it all worked out for everyone 😊. What’s unique about our region is we don’t change leadership often which is good. When it opens up, everyone gets an opportunity to try out for the role :)

After some thought and consideration, I have decided to give it shot. I was a little warry at first due to my experience of leadership from the past. However, I have matured as a person and have become far wiser. And who knows, maybe I wouldn't be so bad.
