Both my wife and newborn children are doing fine after a lengthy session at the hospital and will be released in a few days once the doctors are sure there are no problems with both Catherine and my children! This a night to rejoice my fellow Britannias! Therefore, By my degree for this night only, All bars in the city of New London are to remain open until 6AM. Final preparations are underway for the Emperor's Official Birthday Parade this coming (RL) Saturday.
The celebrations included the annual Trooping of the Eagles ceremony.
The Eagle is the embodiment of the soul and the honor of the Tagmata. Its attached banner lists the battle honors of the Tagmata. It was, in the smoke and confusion of battle, the point to which men would rally. It was, in past time, the greatest disgrace to the Tagmata to lose its Eagle to enemy action. Officers and men died to protect it.
So that all officers and men would know what the Eagle looked like, it would be shown, or trooped, along the lines of the Tagmata at regular intervals. This simple act has evolved into the ceremony known as Trooping the Eagle.
Each year, one unit of the Imperial Guard troops its Eagle in honor of the Emperor's Official Birthday. This year, the Eagle being trooped belongs to the 1st Bandon, Varangian Guard.
The Varangian Guard is one of the oldest units in the Imperial Army, having been re-established by Sergius II in 1656. They have served in nearly every conflict that the Empire has been involved in and covered themselves with glory and honor on countless occasions.
Lt. Colonel Michael Nampites, the OC of the 1st Bandon, Varangian Guard had this to say:
"To be trooping our Eagle in front of His Imperial Majesty is at once a great honor, and a tremendous responsibility. While I have no doubt that the boys will carry it off with great dash, I must confess to a bit of anxiety. His Imperial Majesty has seen this ceremony many times, and I don't want to be the one to foul things up."
The last was said with a smile, as Lt. Colonel Nampites is a very accomplished officer, a holder of the Military Medal for his bravery and leadership during Operation Michael in the former 
Tamenka.
The Emperor's Official Birthday Parade will be shown live here on IASNN as well as on its traditional home, the Imperial Broadcasting Service (IBS) network.

Imperial Air Force to begin research into new fighter jet
Air Marshall Mitchell, General-in-Chief of the Royal Air Force, reported today that funding for research has been granted by the Ministry of Defense to look into replacing the RAF's stock of aging fighter planes. The F-19 Gremlin (RL F-14 Tomcat) a mainstay of both the RAF and Imperial Navy, is to be replaced with newer and more versatile fighters. A single line of fights will be looked into the replace the Gremlin and should cost just over 1 billion Pounds. This a working number Air Marshall Mitchell said and is subject to change. Currently a concept design of the new fighter is not ready yet but will be soon the Air Marshall reported
