Guys if i can get 100 reads on my Overview factbook by next week, i’ll post a picture of my elbow.

not all of them. Some of my factbooks still have the proper view count

Domanania wrote:not all of them. Some of my factbooks still have the proper view count

It looks like dipatches older than the legendary 11 May 2023 backup have the right view count, and newer ones are hit-or-miss.

I'm going to wait until the automatic updates resume to join the WA. Maybe I'll give it a few days?

hi

Some are sadly still off. One of my factbooks went from nearly 2,000 reads to about 500

with NS being down for a week, i guess i should make some news posts to make up for it

Mornin' everyone, I'm in the process of compiling my history dispatch, so I may delete or add new factbooks to make it easier to navigate the dispatches. With that said, I apologize if notices pop up about me mentioning you in a dispatch that you already know the content

hello, Does anyone know how to make a good and correct map ?

Baumes wrote:Some are sadly still off. One of my factbooks went from nearly 2,000 reads to about 500

Yeah a lot of mine reset to one or in the tens range

Kravato wrote:Yeah a lot of mine reset to one or in the tens range

Can everyone look at my overview to get it above 1k reads again

Solaryia wrote:Can everyone look at my overview to get it above 1k reads again

yall are having 1k dispatch views?

Jogja wrote:hello, Does anyone know how to make a good and correct map ?

I recommend using Azgaar's fantasy map generator, it's a good tool at least for me

Verska wrote:I recommend using Azgaar's fantasy map generator, it's a good tool at least for me

thank you Verska, it's sound strange for me but I will search n learn

Corindia wrote:It's looking pretty grim, lost most of everything and especially the self collection. Decent odds I'm just quitting cards if I'm being honest

Yeah, we are pretty much cooked in that department. Though i noticed in the "Notices" page it still stores some information regarding our card tradings. Hopefully they can restore it

Domanania wrote:yall are having 1k dispatch views?

Just be a poster on F7 and you'll rack up views. Downside: having to deal with F7

Jogja wrote:thank you Verska, it's sound strange for me but I will search n learn

You're welcome!

Domanania wrote:yall are having 1k dispatch views?

It turns out that for my overview and diplo dispatches, I have :o

It concerns the amount of reads, not the upvotes.

Nhoor wrote:It turns out that for my overview and diplo dispatches, I have :o

All my recent factbooks (since I came back last May) have been reset to 1 read.

The Tsunterlands wrote:All my recent factbooks (since I came back last May) have been reset to 1 read.

On the other hand, that gives us all a reason to read through all of them again, more than once ;)

Something similar to what Yektov was suggesting.

Jogja wrote:thank you Verska, it's sound strange for me but I will search n learn

azgaar isnt great if you want a map that fits with your spot on the TWI map

I recommend using Nhoor's tutorial on making a map in Inkscape found here: http://dulminis.nl/nhoor/mappingininkscape.pdf

Jogja wrote:hello, Does anyone know how to make a good and correct map ?

i could try helping you make a map :). I’m trying to become a map maker myself.

Samudera wrote:Yeah, we are pretty much cooked in that department. Though i noticed in the "Notices" page it still stores some information regarding our card tradings. Hopefully they can restore it

There are complete records of all card trades/gifts they could use if they wanted to.

I will read ya'll's factbooks again! :) I also just revamped my entire nation's history in my main overview factbook, if anyone's interested :) It's still a WIP but much more fleshed out than before. Also open to incorporating other nations into my history if interested!

The Marique-class Corvette is a family of corvettes primarily designed and produced for the Baumish Navy during the 2000s as part of the wider framework of Project Fenix, an initiative to reconstruct and reorganize the naval service branch. Designed to replace the aging Doubal-class Corvette, a series of Baumish license-produced versions of the Costavozkan Project-89 Corvette, the ship was designed and produced by Paranau Heavy Industries with assistance and consultation of the design by Cazano Engineering. Initially conceived as a "patrol-combat ship", the design was later adapted into other different variations.

Development into the Marique-class was initiated during the 1990s when the navy began researching the development of a possible replacement for the obsolete Doubal-class. The navy wanted a larger ship with more firepower and flexible capabilities to serve as both a frontline and regular service vessel. Following the introduction of Project Fenix, the development and progress of the project was sped up and the first ships began construction in 2002. The Baumish Navy officially commissioned the lead vessel of the class, RBS Marique, in 2006. A total of 10 ships were planned to be made which was later reduced to 8. The last 3 vessels were canceled mid-development and subsequently transferred to interested Costavozkan and Vacrusian navies.

Outside Baumes, the Marique-class has been an exceptionally popular choice abroad, largely due to its broad range of capabilities, customisability, and inexpensiveness. Since its introduction, a total of X ships have been produced for [ADD NATIONS]. The design has proved to be very modular and there are currently three main variants of the ship; the standard multipurpose vessel, the larger combat variant, and the smaller offshore patrol vessel version.

Currently, a total of 33 vessels have been made, 2 of which are undergoing sea trials while another 2 are under construction. Wangano is the largest operator of the class, with 7 ships in commission and another still awaiting delivery, followed by Baumes and the Tsunterlands with 5 units respectively, Skilles with 4 vessels, Warfburg with 4 units, Costavozka with 2 ships, Vacrus with 1 vessel, and Nhoor with 1 ship, with another 3 awaiting delivery.

Design

Depending on the variant, the Marique-class may be armed with up to 3 quad-launchers capable of carrying both anti-ship and surface-to-surface missiles. The ship is powered by a pair of controllable pitch diesel engines produced by Paranau Heavy Industries capable of producing a combined power output of 14,500 horsepower, enabling vessels to reach a speed of up to 28 knots. Additionally, an Amsel AH-110 can be operated from the ship. Two anti-air shoulder-launched missile launchers may also be equipped on a standard vessel, while the combat variant may be equipped with more. Optionally, an advanced anti-air missile launcher system may also be equipped if requested.

Unless specified, a single 76 mm dual-purpose gun is equipped on the ship as its primary gun capable of firing up to 120 rounds per minute as far as 15.5 km. A pair of 30 mm close-in weapon systems is also fitted onboard which can fire an astonishing 3000 rounds per minute with a maximum range of 2 km. An alternative gun system may also be utilized if requested. The combat variant is typically also armed with an extra main gun and an improved derivative of the secondary gun, although exact details and specifications of it remain unknown.

The ship is also equipped with an E/F-band air or surface search radar capable of tracking several dozens of targets from a distance of up to 130 km. It is further equipped with an I-band fire control radar which can handle 150 targets simultaneously within a 40-50 km range. In addition, the ship also includes an I-band navigation radar. Otherwise, most of the ship's sensors and processing systems can be easily retrofitted to further extend its lifespan and relevancy.

Also included are electronic warfare and decoy systems such as an Electronic Support Measures system. Physical decoys are also available including four 10-tube 120 mm barrage chaff launchers that can fire 80 rounds at a time and two towed torpedo decoys to fool incoming anti-ship missiles.

Marique M
Often simply referred to as Marique, this variant is the standard version which is the most commonly produced model as well. It is the multipurpose version designed mainly for patrol or surveillance and actual combat. Designed for both littoral waters near the coastline and the open sea, the variant is capable of operating in most places even during unfavorable weather conditions. The ship is moderately armed, featuring a single main gun, two secondary close-in weapon guns, a total of 8 anti-ship and SSM missile launchers, and a pair of anti-air MANPADS. Standard production radars and fire control systems have also been equipped on board.

The variant can be further divided into two production blocks; Block A which was the initial production line produced until 2016 and the more recent Block B which has been produced since then. Aside from some minor cabin and deck redesigns, the design of both blocks are largely the same with the only new additions being newer systems and weapons. Most navies have upgraded their existing Block A's into Block B through a refitting operation, the first of which was Baumes in 2016. Such upgrades also greatly expand the lifespan of the ships.

Marique C
When the Baumish Navy placed their first order for the multirole baseline Marique, the navy also requested a special derivative of the design. This variant would be larger and more heavily armed, with its main purpose being as an "attack corvette" designed for open seas and effective combat roles. Titled as the Marique C (for combat), it would be among the most heavily armed corvettes ever designed. Baumes had placed an order for 5 units of this model in 2007. However, the order was later canceled before any hulls were made due to budget constraints. The Tsunter Navy who had ordered 2 units as early as 2005 continued with their order.

Aside from its larger dimensions, key differences include the installation of a second main gun for improved firepower, an improved and stronger close-in weapon system, and significant improvements in radars and systems. Anti-air defense is also improved with further additions of MANPADS, although an option for a fixed vertical launching system is also available. A pair of triple torpedo launching systems and ten depth charges also enable the ship to engage in anti-submarine warfare. Due to the extensive modifications of the derivative, most analysts have classified the vessel as a frigate.

Marique P
In response to a mandate by the Warfburgian Navy for a patrol vessel in 2009, the ship designers introduced another variant to match the navy's needs. Designed for patrolling exclusive economic zone waters, the ship may be deployed for a large variety of tasks including but not limited to anti-piracy, search and rescue, surveillance and policing, and other similar duties. It may also be repurposed as a logistics support vessel to transport troops and supplies. A contract was signed in 2011 worth $344 million IAD for four units including repairs and maintenance fees, weaponry, and training.

Being the lightest version of the Marique-class, the Marique P is armed with heavy machine guns and medium machine guns along with a pair of seaboats for operations such as search and rescue. Optionally, a lightweight 12.7 mm remote-controlled weapon station may be equipped. Like the base model of the Marique, it is divided into two blocks. The Warfburgian Navy chose not to upgrade to the Block 2 standard offered by Baumes and chose to refit it with domestically made radars and systems.
