I could point you to the Tor system: derived from the 80s and good for short range or the S-400 if you want something more long range and new. But I defer to Mik for more and better information.

It's a testament to our growing number of shootings and the culture of the United states that I keep watch of people and keep exit points in mind when I'm in a public place with my fiancee. It's sad that these things are so common and target so many places that part of our day to day lives that I feel anxious about it when I'm out.

Paramilitaries and insurgent groups > underpowered militaries > massive big ones

Same here. I'm always in fear for when a member of the NDP or Liberal party might walk in.

I mean, they aren't common. It's just portrayed that way. You're letting it get to you more than it should. Bad for your health man, if you're going to die, you're going to die but it likely won't be because of a shooting. And if you are that concerned you should go and buy yourself a firearm.

Do you quake in fear every time you step in a car? Do you worry that someone is going to shank you or splash acid in your face?

I dunno man, life can take you out at any point, getting anxious over it does you no good.

Yeah aren't you Texan? You guys have concealed carry. If I were you I'd be strapped at all times.

Naw man, I'm New York. It's hard to get concealed carry here. Would love to live in Texas though, for other reasons, but the stand your ground laws are nice too.

For ship-borne air defense the Americans have the Mk-41 VLS that can fit a wide variety of missiles in the same tubes (anything from tomahawks to ballistic interceptors to short range SAMs to anti sub rockets), which would be useful for your air defenses sense your ships could be equipped on a mission to mission basis and loaded out with whatever would work best. To find more specific stats on the missiles or system just go to the Arleigh Burke Class DD wikipedia page.
Land based from what I've seen/read Patriot missile battery's would probably be your best bet. Israel is doing big stuff with their Iron Dome missile defense program and have started making their own missiles and systems for that.

He's an islamist commie. 'Murican stuff is nice but probably not what he's looking for.

Crime rates in the US have been steadily on the drop for the last twenty five years. There's no increase except media coverage.

I think this is the same in most of the western countries. They are really cracking down on crime

Wouldn't you be angry if someine was always dissing US?

Ever since Vibor's been here, he or she has seen is Balnik making fun of France (and Poland).

I don't care about other folks but Vibor has legitimate reason to get angry.

Poland? I don't remember making jokes about Poland, I'm Polish myself. However I do like french jokes, Quebec jokes, Canada jokes, and Jokes about the USA.

The large detailed map that’s missing the southwest Mesder and the northeast corner.

Yeah, I just read Razz's tg. Imgur won't upload a non-compressed version of that one. It's 11000 x 6000

Well that’s rude of Imgur.

Guess taking one of each region would be better. When you have the complete full map I might want to put them in the resources dispatch of the Office of RP because your maps are really popular for people looking to have detailed geographic maps of their nation.

I mean, my editing software won't even handle that size. the composite was made on another computer in an old copy of CS5 moments before it froze.

They are created in chunks to begin with, like so: https://i.imgur.com/reXKn5T.png
I have these, if they're needed, but some of them - the older ones - are much lower resolution, and people are much better off coming directly to me for copies.

Google drive or DeviantArt should allow uploads without that limitation, if those are an option for you.

I do have a firearm, but they are actually increasingly common. Shootings happen everyday. Recently, in my city, shootings have been happening on the interstate. There is a problem in the U.S. and it's getting worse. Having your head on a swivel is a good way to avoid being another statistic for gun control debates.

There is an increase in certain types of crimes. It's also dependent on the location you're in. Memphis is a dangerous city where homicide rates are increasing, not decreasing.

I don't know about local issues, but the overall murder and general crime rates in the United States are decreasing and have been for as long as I've been alive, pretty much.
