Any of the challengers would do just fine, this is a low-stress election.

You act like me not being in the region isn't the best thing that has ever happened here period.

The Gaya - Overview

The Gaya (English: The Gah-Yah And Wardhana: गया) known formally as the The Commonwealth Of The Gaya (Wardhana: गयाचे राष्ट्रमंडल) is a sovereign nation whose territory comprises of the southwest corner of Argus.

The Gaya began as an ancient civilization on the banks of the Gurū (Known As The Gaya) River where the ancient cities of Wardha (The Capital) and Dusarā lay upon. The Gaya considers itself a civilization state, belonging to an ancient 4,000 year old political continuum of several Hindu & Jain Dynasties with a dominant culture related to but distinct from other ancient Dravidian polities. Although politically Hindu with a mostly Hindu and Jain populace, the nation is overwhelmingly influenced by Buddhist cultural norms. Tea bars, usually attached to local temples exist as the primary means of socializing, while virtually all primary and secondary schools are run by various Hindu orders.

Samrāṭa (Cosmic Emperor) Sarvāta Mahāna IX of House Śāhī is the current Samrāṭa of The Gaya, the Mahamantri of Kodamba, Maharani of Chalukyanadu & Rashtrakutanadu, the acting Incarnation of Rudra Manifestation of Lord Shiva, and is the acting head of the Wise Ocean House of the Dōnaśē Dynasty, assuming his throne on March 5th, 2015. The country is a Commonwealth, largely dominated by a political coalition between the Hindu Nationalist and Center Right Parties. In accordance with its Samrāṭa the government divides power amongst the Monarchy, The Ēkatrita Legislature (Auspicious Imperial Legislature), and the Imperial Tribune. Power is further devolved to the five Prāntyas (Historical Kingdoms Or Dominions) and the twenty Janapadas (People's Dominions)

The Gaya has a developing economy with robust manufacturing and financial sectors employing large sectors of the populace, and occupying a central position in Gaya political and cultural life. With an HDI of 0.912 and life expectancy at 80 years, Gaya citizens enjoy a relatively high quality of living depite having some of the lowest incomes. It has often been described as the "Bastion of the East," and has been called the "Oriental Miracle," as it is one of the only great states to not only be prospering, but enjoying a high living standard. The Commonwealth, being a nation of a 20 million, has a booming manufacturing, industrial, and service based sectors.

Of the nations who possess Nuclear weapons in the region, what are they based off of from IRL weapons. I have stated in the past that Domanania had 2 weapons of less than or equal yield to Little Boy, but now im thinking of swapping those out for <500 small tactical nuclear artillery shells, similar to the W33 weapon used by the USA.

Didn’t we get a proposal through that pretty much offers you a vote?

More specifically in regards to the election:
Not sure if I can decisively pick between the three candidates who have given a speech, so I’ve abstained for now. However, i do encourage those who inevitably lose (there likely will be three of you) to get involved in the RP office as activity monitors, assistants etc. It gives you experience and gives the SoRP so much more time and clear headspace to deal with things that a senior officer really needs to have clear judgement to do. Also, you can knife/challenge the SoRP Australia-style if they go inactive or for other reasons.

1) Teach you about the reality of foreign relations and public perception,

2) Set up some angst between Enchanta and MS.

As far as I can see it, you want to be playing a "good guy" nation. That's fine. But you have to realize that one person's good guy is another person's villain. MS is pretty diametrically opposed to your national values, I think. It's a bit hard to tell with your current factbooks, but the fact that you have one specifically for child abuse laws and one called "Holiday Homes for Refugees" suggests to me that you want a nation focused on social justice. That isn't MS, and trying to cater to everyone is going to get you nowhere. Having rivals and enemies is one of the most fun things in RP anyways.

Don't pull out of international affairs. What you need instead is a clear foreign policy that you pursue. For example, MS's foreign policy is centered around drawing in FDI (foreign direct investment) and drawing in tourism, more or less successfully depending on circumstance.

Ok, wait how do I make it clear what my foreign policy is? Probably sounds like a dumb question but I'm confused.

Miniaturizing warheads to that size is a pretty advanced step, I don't think it would be realistic to go to that level without having other bombs. And 500 is a lot. By warhead count I think that would make you 3rd in the world, beating France by a significant margin.

Either write it down or just be consistent with how you roleplay it. And that means taking your lumps when something has unintended consequences. Pulling your ambassador from the League and backing down when there is the slightest opposition to your plans makes your nation look weak, directionless and unstable. That's not a good look. Sometimes you have to accept the fallout for something and live with that.

Also, I'll note for posterity that the others aren't wrong; sending piles of cash to a developing nation can be highly problematic. It only really works if the country is already known to respect the rule of law and have good distributive measures for aid in place. MS has a tendency to lose a lot of cash along the way as government officials line their pockets.

I'll keep that in mind

If you're referring to the Honorary Membership Amendment: it was never put to vote due to lack of support.

So what's been happening? Besides the election and stuff

I think this year's Blessing Day (a religious holiday in Enchanta) might be the biggest celebration of the 21st century in the country.

In your country or are you planning on setting a world record that will last another 81 years?

Solution for the wall:
1)Annex Mexico
2)Grant all Mexicans US citizenship (no more Mexican immigrants)
3)Build a much smaller wall on former mexico's southern border.
Just a little idea from across the pond :D

fair enough on the advanced tech part. I only think of them because: The US had over 2,000 of the W33 and hundreds or thousands other types of warheads. And today even countries like Israel are believed to have some.
