- All NS ppl, Sec. school and primary students "encouraged" to attend funeral, everyone wayangs
- New holiday declared called LKY Day
- PAP calls election one month later to profit from population's sympathy and uneasiness of losing Lao lee
- PAP wins re-election for yet another time, but only just
- Immigration population continues to rise unabated
- Infrastructure continues to get overloaded...cramped buses and MRTs, flooding in drains, due to population explosion
- More singaporeans migrate abroad
