Shifting of power and decline of people, I do not know this region as it was before.

Hey now why did I get the comment suppressed when I was talking about some friends of me? Not fenda, not raider, just friends.

Also, when will we have elctions?

Kumusta, kababayan?

I have come from a region far far away. I shall help to the best abilities and rest assured that we can able to reestablish relations with the outside.

any filipinos here?

When are our region's elections?

The recent poll's participation rate of just 2 out of 120+ nations raises concerns about the legitimacy of proceeding with an election. Such a low turnout suggests insufficient representation of the wider population.

we can raise the participation by inviting other philippine regions to integrate with this region. that also help us to lower chance of getting raided

Most of them are puppets, fyi. Defender guarantors of our region's security. Also: regarding your proposal to password pur region, it can't be done(by you as delegate) because the SC blocks it.

Butif our injunction is repealed, we could appoint a resident as governor, for security.

What about this region: The New Republic of the Philippines?

I'm finally back

Laufja Asder wrote:What about this region: The New Republic of the Philippines?

exactly, we have to ask them to integrate with us, after all, we're Filipinos,

I support holding an election. Considering the current level of interest, I believe it's feasible.

I will support ur initiative on that.

On my quick check, the region currently has 7 WA members. I advise you can send them telegrams so you can gather more endorsements.

Regional Government of the Philippines
Office of the Delegate of the Philippines

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Given the current momentum and commitment towards achieving a stable and democratically elected government, I propose an election for the region’s Delegate and Vice Delegate positions. Nations interested must meet the qualifications outlined in the 2020 Regional Constitution, Section 2, Article 7:

Article 7: Candidates for Delegate and Vice Delegate must be World Assembly members and residents of the Philippines for at least 300 days before the election.

To facilitate this process, the following steps will be taken:

1. From February 26 to 29, nations interested in running for regional government positions may publicly announce their candidacy through the RMB or send a Telegram to the WA Delegate (Ecnav Enitsuj).

2. On March 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM Philippine Standard Time, the WA Delegate (Ecnav Enitsuj) will publicly and officially announce the candidates who meet the criteria stipulated in the 2020 Regional Constitution, Section 2, Article 7.

3. The campaign period will then commence immediately after the announcement, running from March 1, 2024, to March 5, 2024.

4. Election Day is scheduled for March 6, 2024, and will conclude on March 9, 2024.

5. On March 10, 2024, the elected officials will be announced.

6. The candidate with the highest number of votes will be declared the Delegate, and the second highest will become the Vice Delegate.

7. To be eligible, nations must have been residents of the Philippines for 300 days by March 9, 2024.

As of this moment, only four residents are eligible in the candidacy. And I cant join because of the requirements, but I can be a temporary officer if needed

Few nations meet those criteria. People like me haven't even existed for that long!
Also, what is you opinion on a merger with The New Republic of the Philippines?

I understand. Given the current situation, it's essential to waive the residency requirement. The minimal condition is that nations seeking to file candidacy for the election must be a member of the World Assembly one day before the election.

Anything I can help with while we wait for the region election?

Manilenyo wrote:Anything I can help with while we wait for the region election?

Agreed, the delegate should appoint interim officers.

Also, Ecnav Enitsuj, as our delegate, what do you think about possible mergers with other regions?

Femostandar Kree wrote:Also, Ecnav Enitsuj, as our delegate, what do you think about possible mergers with other regions?

That topic is quite significant, and it necessitates in-depth discussions among the residents of this region. The decision doesn't solely rest on me. In such discussions, I prioritize reaching a consensus and refrain from preempting others' opinions, particularly given my role as the WA Delegate.
