New Baltic States pretty much what happened was chaos on 
Triskelia that is on the verge of a civil war between the Triskelian Autarch and the Triskelian secret services(I think). I directly intervened to stop the chaos by sending in troops.
Also, while that was happening, 
Collies Mauritania bombed Triskelia. Because Collies Mauritania did that, I asked them if they wanted war with me. They said yes, so I am about to bomb them to oblivion and send in my troops.
There is also rumors about the Autarch working with cartels. There is still a debate about if that is true.

8:30PM, Eastern Mauritania:
As the sun begins to set, approximately 2,000 Japtilasian Bombers fly, headed for the capital, Chinguetti. The bombers fly without concern, since they are defended by 75,000 fighters.
They set eyes on the small village of Walatah.
"Should I hit 'em with somethin'?" says a fighter pilot to his comrade.
"Not if I get 'em first!" says the comrade, detaching his fighter from the formation to fire a missile at Walatah.
Suddenly in the setting sun, a silhouette of a dog can be seen, though it is mostly unnoticeable how quickly it is moving. The dog is suddenly in Walatah, starting up at the two fighters.
"It seems the invasion has begun..."
The fighters get close enough to see the dog.
"How the hell is there a Border Collie out here?"
"It's called 'Collie's Mauritania' dummie!"
Suddenly, The Collie jumps into the air with immense force, and lands on the cockpit of the foremost fighter.
"I think your jet has some damage!" The Collie says as he rips the nose off and shoves the jet into the ground, narrowly missing Walatah.
The Collie then jumps and punches through the bottom of the other jet, splitting it in half.
The Collie then fires a massive barrage of fireballs at the squadron, downing about 100 fighters and a couple bombers.
"I thought there wasn't any Anti-Air!"
A 200 fighter detachment turns toward Walatah to find and destroy the alleged Anti-Air. The Collie fires super-lighting bolts at the squadron, shooting down all but one. The one he spared, he jumped onto, threw the pilot out, and sped towards the main squadron.
"Gold-Leader, this is Invasion-Leader, did you take out Walatah?" someone radios The Collie.
"Uhh, yeah! We leveled the town!" The Collie replies.
"Who is this?"
"Uhh... Gold Leader got hit, I'm in charge now."
"Oh. My apologies."
The Collie catches up with the squadron, which is now over Ayoun el Atrous.
"Gold Leader, where's the rest of your squadron?"
The Collie then fired his jet's salvo at the closest enemy fighter. He then got out of his seat, and puts two forks in place of guns. He then opens fire, launching high-powered magical bullets at the Japtilasian fighters, downing most of them before they realized that he'd hijacked one of their jets.
The Collie finally opened the cockpit, and released a Supersonic bark the obliterated the remaining aircraft.
Next would be the tanks...

He he he...
It's not called a "Magical Hypnosis Border Collie of Doom" for nothing... Japtilas should have been more careful.
[OOC] Let me make a more elaborate summary of what is happening. Keep in mind that the "confusion" around the whole Triskelia crisis is completely in line with RP, since no one involved (Autarch, Secret Service, Macimo, Port Sheldon) wants to give the full "truth" given that they are defending their interests.
As usual, the truth is the first victim in a conflict. Perhaps 
Port Sheldon is the most reliable. Perhaps it's Triskelia
But basically the Autarch enemies, including its rogue Secret Service, were trying to lead to a swift "coup d'état" against him by isolating him from all of his power bases (Military, Oligarchs, public support)
This swift coup failed due to ([OOC] dices) [RP] Autarch figuring the situation out and baiting Secret Services to reveal their plan. Secret Services wanted the Autarch to go against the Oligarchs by killing a journalist, which didn't happen.
Now the situation is more and more going out of control. Some Triskel elements are trying to start a civil war, but public support for the Autarch is starting to be high again thanks to Sofia messing up and thanks to the Socialist threat. Meaning that countries such as 
Macimo-Rongor or Port Sheldon could act more directly to topple him
