It would seem the hammer strikes hard even into GenSec. Grab the popcorn, and let us enjoy the show!

RP is mostly done through South Newtown. We recommend contacting the SN organizers to join. We would also recommend leaving one nation in LDA which is a WA nation, for membership, and moving your RP nation to SN or similar RP region.

out of the loop, can someone give me a tl;dr?

Greetings,

On behalf of the Directorate of the Imperial Sanctuary, the Department of Foreign Relations has chosen to send a friendly greeting to all our diplomatic relations.

The Directorate is very occupied with the development of interregional collaborations and friendship agreements - and hopes this development will continue in good order.

We are happy with our diplomatic connection with your region.

We wish you all the best!

Yours Sincerely,

Emanuel Marks

Director of Foreign Relations

(I might have watched a Danish series, which contributed to a certain extent to my desire: Borgen. It seemed really authentic and I was seduced by Danish way of life. Btw great political series, I recommend it)

Hey, sorry for not being able to respond in a timely manner. The first time I wrote it the site crashed and then the second time as well + at the moment I just have a lot of work to do so please excuse me if I can't give you a response I see adequate in hopefully just this week left (my father has some problems going on with "business") so I'll respond once I can and prepare yourself for an absolutely bombastic fantastic guide to Copenhagen.
Until then, I hope you don't feel "neglected" or something like that, I haven't forgot how you helped me on my Paris trip ;-)

Basically GenSec member Wallenburg was kicked out of their position by the moderation team, who claimed his/her conduct wasn’t on par with what was expected of them.
The rest of GenSec banded together to defend Wallenburg and claimed that they disagreed with his/her departure from GenSec, and the WA community has rallied to GenSec’s side like bureaucrats when they see a new manner to get more of our tax money.

Don't worry, I'm myself very busy as well, and focused on what's happening on the next day or next week, and not really on my trip in August.
Btw, you don't need to write anything long or precise, I was just asking if there were a few things you would tell to someone visiting Copenhagen. Btw I don't remember what I wrote exactly for Paris, but I remember I was too long and I'm not sure I gave the best advice and sorted things properly.

Some will accuse me of being simplistic, but to me it seems like the poor guy has been ejected from the Politburo.

I haven't had time to decipher all the twists and turns of the - highly sensitive - case, but right now I see an opaque, bureaucratic procedure. If even the rest of the 'Politburo' disagrees, then I've given up hope of ever understanding how appointments in this Politburo/GenSec work.

To us, LDA members, I would just say: we don't really care - on the contrary, let's watch them squabble. Why? Because we've been proven time and again that we have nothing to expect from these institutions. And yet, it's not for lack of trying from our side.

From a conclusion to the above mentioned dramatic occurrence:
"Ultimately, this is Max's own private Father Knows Best State. It's a dictatorship that he and he alone controls, and all we do is enforce the rules and systems he has permitted. [violet] could come in tomorrow and let us know that Max told her that he's decided to completely scrap the rules, that using the letter "e" is a Delete-On-Sight offense, and there would be literally nothing any of us could do about it.
With that said, most of this has degraded from calm and reasonable discussion into essentially a bad faith smorgasbord of unproductive points-scoring and mud-flinging. You know where to report problems; please utilize the appropriate resources."

It is surprising that we actually got to them when the letter regarding poor event assessments was published. This could be ironically LDA and allies' best achievement in this forsaken platform.

Honestly sounds like an excuse to end discussion on the topic, since they don't want to address it.

While I don't typically keep track of moderation moves and decisions, this does seem like another continuation of an ongoing issue of transparency between them and the players. Moderators should be held to a much higher standard since they hold so much power over the playerbase. Transparency is and should be apart of that standard, especially in such a niche and smaller than most (in my opinion) community, that is expressing a somewhat widespread sense of dissatisfaction with its moderators, in regards to this issue.

But it is what it is I guess... in the words of one of the nations within the thread, "And thus the rebellion was crushed!"

Hello Democratic Alliance

TRUMP IS THE LOSER is here for any thing our embassy friends would need. I like bringing peace as well as truth in to the world.
Take care!

I sometimes forget I've been on here since January of 2020. Time flies.

Inevitably, any person in a moderator position are bound to abuse their authority. I believe even us if we were in such a position, would abuse the system by our own version of what's right. That's why checks and balances are always unnecessary unless dealing with an emergency / crisis / extremism.

Well, we’ve been here long enough to know that we have absolutely nothing to expect from Max Barry.

He has the right not to be interested in the game. But he has created something of interest to thousands of people, he has a responsibility. So he should have the wisdom if not the decency to delegate it to someone who really wants to take care of it.

Jesus & the Goddess: A Christo-Pagan Story-Ritual for Easter-Equinox

Looking up the above title accesses a story-ritual online since March 2019. The story runs parallel to New Sylvaner ChristoPagan mythology. It could not have been better conveyed by New Sylvan in it's customary holiday RMB posts. Those intrigued at all with the ChristoPagan path to the Divine Source may well find the story intriguing. As might nontheists, in so far as this novel approach toward spiritually apart from organised religion. It is not preachy.

I am so mad right now, I had an issue regarding company rights over the government and I selected the choice that I believed to be the most moderate since the other two were to either leave companies to do whatever they want or the government just collectivizing everything and it reduced my political freedom so much that I lost my 2nd place in the region.

Yup. Corruption goes up a long way up whenever a more "aggressive" policy is chosen. To the point which it's best to dismiss the issue than to choose the lesser/milder option.

Yeah, that's what I did but I felt like responding to one for once, and look where it brought me.
Now I have to try to get my political freedom back up or else it's going to bother me
