To resume the plant world cup, or to bail?

It appears that some of our neighbor's children are currently unsupervised and up past their bedtimes.

I wish the trading cards come back soon :(

Hey A ship of fools
When did you start card farming?
I believe I officially started in the summer of last year.

The day Series 1 was created! I can't look the date up because cards are shut down right now. If I remember correctly, S1 wasn't tied to issues. You got new cards after a set amount of time. You also got cards based on the region you were in much more frequently.

S1? I think that was in April 2018, but they did stuff so the cards mirrored the state they were in November, i think.

I need to go to the beach

The Beach Boys song "Kokomo" has been stuck in my head for a week. I understand the need!

A lost ducky wrote:Is it necessary for the government to intervene in the economy to protect consumers?

Not only is it usually not necessary, it's often detrimental. Government intervention invariably means picking winners and losers, and Big Gov looks out for its own interests, not yours.

Bad Bread wrote:Is it true that the freer the markets, the freer the people?

It's a great question, but I can't answer it. I keep thinking of variables, and then I question my suppositions!

Bad Bread wrote: Is it better to maintain a balanced budget than to ensure welfare for all citizens?

I expect most people's opinions will depend on whether they are supporting their government, or their government is supporting them.
