Hoffmann responds warmly as he proceeds to walk off to try to see the capital more and immerse himself in Monster culture.

It's clear that monsters are somewhat nationalistic.

And very much unwilling to surrender even under the harshest circumstances.

This can be shown by looking at their history from 20,000 years ago it would have been safe to say that monster kind would have went extinct at that time but it didn't.

The monsters adapted to the underground and made it their home until eventually they once again emerged to the surface.

Monsters have been unified throughout their history ever since their existence.

However there is a royal dynasty that is mentioned that came before gaster's dynasty.

This group of people is known as "the dreamers"

yeah, I haven't told anyone, but I don't act like myself when on a nation, I act like a typical example of someone in that nation.

Montiri are generally narcissictic and condescending... so.... yeah.

waits for the howitzer round to hit me full force

You remember how I was when you first met me?

You remember how all of a sudden I became kinda really annoying.

Not accidental.

Hoffmann takes notice of these and starts writing them down in his personal journal in the middle of a bench, not caring if he's visible to anyone.

| Dear Diary |
So far I have not that the Monsters while not an aggressive race has some sense of nationalistic pride which is expected after being trapped for over 20,000 years to be finally free united as a species, another thing that is of interest is the adaptability of the Monsters, similar to humans under tough conditions they have proven themselves survivors and well capable of adapting, but also the most interesting thing of all, that even being a united race throughout their history there has been a dynasty even before the gaster's, called the "dreamers" I know nothing of them but they have my utmost curiosity.

The people of Salvatiotan need more land, there is not enough room here.
