People were looking to break away from The Ervial kingdom (it doesn’t exist anymore), as the king was awful and people had no freedoms. The ship Golden King sailed away, the people aboard looking to find new land to find some precious gold. On November 26, 1624, The Golden king arrived at a small coast. They found a surplus of gold at the area, and lots a good and resources to live on. Best of all (for the settlers) there was no Indianans at the coast. At the time it was the perfect civilization. They named the country the gold mines, for all the gold found there.
1625
The people decided to have a king in the gold mines. They had a governer from the Ervial be crowned as king. His name was Henry Cliff.
1647
King Henry Cliff died of sickness, and his son Marcus took over the throne. Marcus decided to build grand buildings and palaces.
1656
King Charles Fulletë of the Ervial kingdom decided to invade The Gold Mines. Fortunately, King Marcus was a smart king and the Ervial Kingdom was defeated
1733
At this time, The Gold Mines is thriving! It is a popular area with lots of cities and people. The Ervial kingdom was starting to collapse. The Gold Mines took over it, and expanded their territory. Although, after this event the people of The Gold Mines decided not to continue to invade other countries.
1755
King Harold Prasher was a very unfair king, and put The Gold Mines in poverty. The people of The Gold Mines was tired of King Harold, and had a revolution. King Harold was not expecting a revolution, and him and the royal guard lost very quickly. On July 8, 1756, The Gold Mines became a democracy. The very first President of The Gold Mines was President Arnold Hagmin.
1856-1858
In the past century, The Gold Mines had lots of presidents, and also stayed a netural country. Women decided they wanted the right to vote in The Gold Mines, and after Two years of fighting, President Woody Warner gave the Women the right to vote.
1895
The first woman becomes president, Hannah Winslow
1914
People in the past had been upset of The Gold Mines being netural all the time, and the group Evil Mines is founded.
1965
The first Evil Mines supporter becomes leader, John Edwards.
1970-2000
This is known as the “Dark Ages”. This is when Evil Mines was supporters were leaders, or Evil Mines spies were leaders, or Evil Mines were corrupting leaders.
2001
People were finally going against Evil Mines, more Evil Mines people were being discovered and arrested
2020
The Evil Mines was defeated. They were driven out of The Gold Mines for good, after some of the Evil Mines leaders being excecuted.

Like almost all situations that involve the end of the united states/western civilization, Canada doesn't exist, never has, and takes up no space whatsoever. In every war, Canada's countiful resources are ignored and the population is too minuscule to even exist, let alone affect literally anything. At the end of the world as we know it, Canada simply stops existing due to the threat of incredible plot holes.
