As far as I knew. I guess not.
So I was just thinking about it, despite my desire not to tinker too much with British outlook on European affairs, what d'ya think Scotland and Irelands positions on World War Two would be? Ireland obviously remained neutral in OTL, and Scotland was a part of the UK so that didn't matter, but with the two being united and independent of England?
Depends on your relations with France. Does the age-old Franco-Scottish alliance hold, or has it dissolved?
No matter how I look at it, it seems far more likely that I'd be a Pro-Entente/Pro-Allies faction in opposition to you.
Allies of convenience basically? Sort of USSR & USA deal going on.
Albais, another thing in regards to modern-day British Overseas Territories. You get the ones in the Caribbean (Bermuda, Virgin Islands, etc) and I get Gibraltar, the Falklands and the rest?

Just leave lol
Thank you Hanchu, very cool!
Seems more likely that I'd get a hold of the Falklands and Gibraltar if anything, given their proximity to arguably Anti-English bastions. Hell, with France being kicked from North America wouldn't it make more sense for you to have those?
Now imagine this while you're trying to cut weight for weigh ins and have absolutely no access to a real kitchen.
Isle of great-britain and North America and the Pacific Islands
Gibraltar was taken from Spain by an Anglo-Dutch coalition in the War of Spanish Succession. The Falklands is less clear-cut, but generally it became British after a long slow-burning dispute between Spain and Britain, then Argentina and Britain. In either cases, they're either Anglo or Hispanic. There's not much room for Scotland.
While France was kicked out of North America (although not entirely, considering Acadia), I thought that a Franco-Scottish victory in the Caribbean would balance out stalemate in Europe and India. One big victory for Britain, one big victory of Scotland, stalemates elsewhere.
It's not really that big of a victory if England still has the entirety of Canada plus territories in South America, along with control over access to the Mediterranean. The only real edge that gives me is if you ever decide to go after the US I have a naval presence there; big whoop.
I'd be fine letting you have Gibraltar as that can be the focal point of tension later, but at the very least you've gotta let me have the Falklands.
Hey! We're not dead yet!
Oh, I don't have Canada. I've mentioned before, although it must have been missed in my debate with NAPI, Canada, the Caribbean, West Africa and West India go to Scotland.
Sure, you can have Falkland.
"Look you can choose, and we both want you to because we want what's best for you. We want you to choose who you think would be better for your life... so if you decide to choose the tea-drinking, inbred southerners over the bag-piping, highland warriors, I'll only slightly judge you."
Reminder that James the Sh*t was a pussy.
Reminder that he was born in England.
To a Franco-Scottish dynasty.
Of an English dominated union.
