SANDWICH
Sir, it seems Murnik is supporting Galayar, and seems to increasing the number of soldier's to our southern border. say a man to Dusan, send a ambassador to Murnik, ask them that we want peace, if they refuse then we have no choice but to add more personnel our southern border, if it does come to a war on both front we'll enact article 66 (where every man from the age of 16 to 53 need to take up arms to protect the fatherland and every industry need to focus on the war effort) tell every region to build a underground bunker and shelter's, tell the people to practice how to go to the shelter during air raids, tell the soldier's who are in the northern border to start digging trenches and plant land mines and barb wires as preparations for the inevitable, tell the air force to conduct daily air patrol at both borders and the navy to do the same patrolling our sea. And tell the news and media that the goverment will conduct mandatory service, i'll ask the leader of Aetheodaland alfred ix if he can persuade Murnik leader to a peace treaty say Dusan

Murnik would encourage its citizens to buy weapons despite increase of prices, while Murnik would begin to give out free equipment, like Molotov Cocktails. Some though, have to be paid, like anti tank mines or radio. Murnik would ask for its citizens to call for arms, which would manage to mobilize at least 1,500 men.

SO BE IT
so be it say dusan, jerry, tell the commander of the mongoose and snake division to the southern border (32.000), enact article 66! Tell the soldiers on the northern border to attack Galayar, before they can do anything to us! sir why not attack Murnik? Say a secetary to dusan, dusan responds the Murnik's won't do anything, even if they do think about it the 45.000 soldiers (bgs and the 2 army division) right infront of their door steps would make them think twice, the real threath is Galayar, it's better if we destroy their equipment and infrastructure before they can do any harm for us dusan say's to the secetary, at 1:00 AM 27 cresrian fighter jet's fly low to not get detect by the enemy's radar, fly into Galayar territory searching for target's such as military base, military airfield's and ammunition depo, once the fighter jet's found their target's and unleashes everything they have into their targets, as for near the border the sounds artillery and rockets being launch from the mlr's and mortar fire can be heard as the cresrians launch their assault into Galayar, 45.122 soldier's from the BGS, army and the marines rush towards to Galayar taking cover and firing their weapon's and the tanks firing their shell's keeping the enemy's heads low, demos infiltrate to Galayar from the sea, on 2:11 AM Cresr manage to carve a decent chunk of land where the border used to be, President of Cresr Dusan declare war on Galayar saying if we continue being sitting ducks, Galayar will kill all of us, the cresrian-galayaran war have start.

Ooc: yeah.... i can't wait... besides i'm going down either way, so might as well do it my own way , and yes i'm using blitzkrieg that's why i'm so fast at occupying lands like the germans

Naval Enforcement

The growing conflict is concerning to the Confederacy who has already taken up stake in the region. Now that shots have been fired, the Confederacy has taken it upon itself to police the seas. President Budd has ordered a naval police action across the coasts of Cresr, Murnik and the eastern coast of Galayar. Several large contingents of the Confederate Navy will be deployed to fulfill the mission of preventing any and all Cresrian naval activity. The Government of Cresr is notified that they are being embargoed and any attempt to break this forced embargo will be met with deadly force by the far superior Confederate Navy.

Policing requires the Confederacy to ensure no ships leave the coast of Cresr without surveillance. Any ships or transport vessels bearing the ensign of the Cresrian naval or Marine Corps will be ordered to return to their ports or face potentially making a new maritime enemy. If any of these ships ignore the order, they will be followed and naval authorities from Galayar will be notified of their coordinates, heading and potential destination. This policing of the seas will effectively halt any and all Cresrian naval activity, knocking the usefulness of the navy out of war they have started.

Confederate Naval assets being deployed to the theater of action are as follows:

The Confederate 2nd Fleet - 3 destroyer squadrons, 2 Cruiser Squadrons, 1 Command and Radar Squadron, 1st Marine Landing Division, Battleship FCS “Negansett.”

The Confederate 3rd Fleet - 4 destroyer squadrons, 3 Cruiser Squadrons, 1 Command and Radar Squadron, 4th Marine Landing Division, Battleship FCS “Monroe.”

The Confederate Coastal Patrol Support Group - 2 Destroyer Squadrons, 1 Cruiser Squadron, 2 Supply Convoy Group, 1 Helicopter transport vessel, 1 Hospital Ship FCS “Yarrow.”

Ooc: wait- a blockade is act of war, you can say quarentine like the US, also does this includes Galayar's navy or only mine? Cause if it's only mine it will be a act of war

Cresr wrote:Ooc: wait- a blockade is act of war, you can say quarentine like the US, also does this includes Galayar's navy or only mine? Cause if it's only mine it will be a act of war

Ooc: It is not an act of war. It’s a blockade similar to the one the US had on Cuba during the Cold War. There is no war, just a blockade to prevent trade and naval activity. I’ll call it an embargo

It’s just you. You’ll either have to deal with it or lose very quickly. You’re a very small nation without the assets I think that you think you have.

Okay, i'll see you tommorow, i'll probably make a whack job veteran of the great war with a chunck of his head missing to lighten the mood, i'm probably gonna use the method that one US general use when the US play war games and his side is iran and a submarine i've been keeping a secret like the ones the the swedes that sunk US boats it's either that or i'll do nothing, i'll see you all tommorow

Rhufoniog

The Emerald Isles Alight

The fires of revolution spread though Rhufoniog like a plague, erupting several cities, towns, even military installations into full blown conflict not seen since the Great War. Much of the Rhufoniogian Royal Navy declared a strange 'neutrality of intervention' in the conflict, threatening to blockade the shores and stop convoys or foreign supplies from entering Rhufoniog until the civil conflict had come to a close. While this has resulted in several small skirmishes between the bulk of the navy and radical forces, it has luckily saved the bulk of the country's ships from all out destruction in pitched battles.

The Drumians, the mountain dwellers of Rhufoniog's spinal mountain range, quickly found themselves pulled into a conflict they had originally taken no part in. Their culture remained focused on the clan structure and rural lifestyle, but the rising red legions had positioned themselves to undo their systems. Thus, the Drumian Highlanders were formed, an auxillary of the Royalist forces in their defensive stratagem to draw out the strength of the resurging insurrection.

The Eranni, the Rhufoniog-adjacent peoples of the isle of Eran, had a long history of oppression and subjugation by the much larger island of Pritani. Often justified with ethno-religious brotherhood and shared struggle, the Eranni nonetheless yearned for their independence, going as far as to stage riots and protests against attempts at conscription and war time measures over the younger brother isle. Now with the homeland in full rebellion, royal authority over the isle was left weakened and vulnerable, sparking the Second Eranni Uprising, with socialist, republican, and even extreme nationalist groups all rising in opposition to the High King and one another. Violence spreads rapidly, and any semblance of front lines or traditional tactics melts away in the mountainous isle of Eranni.

The High King, in what hushes transmissions can make it across the channel, does approve of Aetheodalandish aid in the ongoing conflict, citing a rapidly deteriorating situation, low morale, and an improperly trained military in quelling rural insurrection, though he does caution that the naval situation, along with guerilla activity, may make the arrival and deployment of said foreign troops difficult and deadly.

As the civil war continues, the situation worsens, and guerilla fighting, terrorism, and other tragedies become the norm. Can the Pritani Isles survive this turmoil?

Do i retcon the war arc, so it's less confusing?
Galayar agree?

РУФОНІЯ ГОРИТЬ; СТІЛДАВІЯ РЕАГУЄ / RHUFONIOG BURNS; STYLDAVIA REACTS

The sudden onset of civil war in the faraway island nation of Rhufoniog is regarded by Styldavians as a tragedy, yet it also acts as a mirror for the republic, revealing the deep tensions that bubble under the surface of a prosperous democracy.

While the Styldavian government has few direct interests in Rhufoniog, the conflict does have the possiblity to affect Aetheodaland, the republic’s greatest ally. Brezdenyuk approves of Aetheodish aid to the Rhufoniog monarchy, however he also made a public statement calling for a “peaceful democratic process” to resolve some of the tensions that originally caused the war. More practical measures were taken by the Ministry of Social Policies, which frantically organized transport for Rhufoniogian refugees fleeing the violence.

Yet despite wide support for the government reaction to the crisis, a notable segment of Styldavian society is sympathetic to the anti-monarchist rebels. The loudest sympathizers are in the Terkiv Congress, which convened only weeks prior to the outbreak of violence. As they hammer out a manifesto of their beliefs, the Terkivites unanimously pass a resolution praising the Rhufoniog worker’s revolution and offering the solidarity of Styldavia’s working class— however, attempts to organize volunteers for combat are swiftly suppressed by the SB and local police. Despite scuffles outside of the congress’s meeting place, foreign agitators are deported while domestic ones are jailed.

There is a generational aspect to Styldavia’s internal divisions. By 1963, an entire generation has grown up within the atmosphere of the republic— the so-called “Young Republicans”. They have no memories of the kniaz or the Great War, and have been taught to revere the heroes of the 1941 Revolution. As this generation enters the universities, they become increasingly politicized and thus produce some of Styldavia’s most ardent anti-monarchists and anti-colonialists. Some extreme student groups even call for an end to Styldavia’s collaboration with the colonialist Aetheodish monarchy.

КРИЗА СХОДУ / CRISIS OF THE EAST

Minister of Foreign Affairs Henryk Vyshinskyy adjusts his glasses and looks closely at the text of the proposed OCS resolution forwarded to him by the new representative, Lev Kravchenko.

The Assembly of Member-States,

OBSERVING the sudden outbreak of armed conflict in Eastern Coldonia, and the actions unilaterally undertaken by the Confederacy of the Fireborn to constrain Cresr’s aggression against its neighbors

DESIRING an immediate cessation of hostilities and to avoid escalating tensions,

COMMENDS the Confederacy of the Fireborn for taking decisive action to limit Cresrian offensive military capacity, which was undertaken in the spirit of the Coldonia Accords and out of a desire to restore peace,

CALLS UPON all parties to the present fighting to cease all firing and terminate all military activity immediately, no later than 12 hours after the moment of the adoption of this resolution, in the positions they now occupy;

INSTRUCTS the parties concerned to start immediately and peacefully withdrawing their forces to the status ante bellum borders after the cease-fire’s implementation

DIRECTS the Firebornish forces to continue acting as the OCS’s armed presence, and to coordinate their future operations with other member-states in the region.

RESOLVES that, immediately and concurrently with the cease-fire, negotiations shall start between the parties concerned under appropriate auspices aimed at establishing a just and durable peace in Eastern Coldonia

Vyshinskyy nods approving. “I think it has a good chance of passing, and the Fireborn will like the recognition for their efforts. Instruct Lev Davydovych to present to the assembly immediately. I will contact the Fireborn ambassador and let him know that we are holding up our end of the bargain.”

A young aide takes the draft with Vyshinskyy’s notes. The minister reaches into a drawer to remove a paper with a message scribbled on it. “Have this message transmitted to Cresr immediately.” He taps the paper before handing it to the aide. “It will be the carrot to Kravchenko’s stick.”

“It will be done, Henryk Andriyovych”, the aide says as he leaves the room, the door closing silently behind him. Vyshinskyy removes his glasses to rub his face. It is very late, but he must compose a reply to Galayar’s demands. He sighs, then puts the glasses back on. He has already spoken to the president, and both men know what their reply to the troika’s ludicrous demands must be— and the potential consequences of such a response. Vyshinskyy inserts a fresh paper into the typewriter and begins to write.

Galayar wrote:Bogdanov's demands to the Brezdenyuk government are the following:

1. Complete paying of indemnities for Captain Mitko Roelandts' family and his lost aircraft.

2. A public apology made by the Brezdenyuk government.

3. Raising of the Galayarese flag and a 21-gun salute in an important border crossing in honor of the dead Captain.

Mr. Bogdanov,

I have conferred with the President about the demands presented in your previous communication. While I can offer the President’s genuine sympathy (as well as my own) to the family of the late Captain Mitko Roelandt, our government will not comply with any of the demands.

Roelandt’s death was a tragic consequence of the broken relationship between our two countries. Styldavian officers acted in accordance with well-defined procedures to defend our airspace against a regime that has shown itself to be hostile to Styldavian interests and ideals.

We will not apologize for exercising the right to defend our lawful airspace, nor will we honor the military of a foreign nation that is at odds with us. We will also not subsidize this nation's military with our funds.

However, we will pay an indemnity directly to Roelandt’s family, in recognition of a terrible and deeply personal loss. Furthermore, any idea of negotiations on this matter (except regarding the size of the indemnity) is out of the question.

Building the Network

The day after word came down from the ambassador to Styldavia that a resolution commending, the confederacy was pushed through by the nation, work began on the creation of a broadening of markets between the Confederacy and Styldavia. It was recognized for sometime that relations were strained between the two nations, especially given the confederacy economic involvement with their eastern neighbor. After sometime however, dialogue reopened between the two. His dialogue focused on creating an understanding between both nations, not based in pushing aside grievances, but instead creating understanding between the two in the interest of future cooperation.

This discussion culminated in two major agreements, the first was the resolution commending the confederacy for the efforts in the second was the agreement to expand the market between the two. The Confederacy offered access to purchase government mined mineral and rare metals deposits with no tariff. In return, access to the broad food goods of Styldavia would be opened for Confederate trade. The Cotton and Tobacco trade would also continue between the two. With this deal, the southern economy in consumer cotton received a small boost, after attention had been diverted to mining. Together, the expanded trade would benefit both countries, and would certainly strengthen the relationship between the two, mending old grievances, and thus unifying a fractured part of the OCS.

Naval Patrols Continue

While the resolution for the OCS to force status ante bellum conditions upon Galayar and Cresr, Confederate Naval operations would be ramped up in the region. The fleet was joined by the only confederate aircraft carrier group with its flagship being the aircraft carrier “FCS Jefferson Lee.” Naval command is stationed on the bridge of this carrier and is heavily guarded day and night. From this command post, other communications ships in the third and second fleet would relay orders to the rest of the senior officers aboard the assortment of confederate naval vessels, operating in the area. When the flagship FCS Jefferson Lee arrived, operations turned to more aggressive policing.

To ensure Cresrian Naval operations had ceased, scouting patrols of squads of three gunboats were sent up and down the Cresrian coast. These patrol groups were equipped with squads of five marines who would form any necessary boarding party, powerful search lights and light sea to shore mounted weapons. Their assigned task was to ensure no Cresrian privateers or conventional vessels were built or crewed. Confederate ships were already in Cresrian territorial waters before the resolution and did not fear backlash for their encroachment on the sovereignty of Cresrian waters because of the backing from other members of the OCS. They were supported by occasional fighter sorties that followed the same route as the gunboats and stayed above water only. These patrols weren’t just exclusive to ports however, reconnaissance as preformed up and down all parts of the coast to monitor any operations that may be occurring within the vicinity.

The far smaller Cresrian navy wouldn’t dare engage the Confederates as doing so would incite a real shooting war with an OCS member, one that Cresr could not afford to fight. So close to a settlement between the warring nations, a new war would be suicidal and would hurt any Cresrian interests of returning to a pre-war nation. For now, it seems clear that Cresr ought to put up with it until the OCS resolution is finalized and the east returns to its status quo.

Counterstorm

The Courtier Warmaster lifted his head toward the stars high above, innumerable as the grains of sand that shifted below his feet. The blackness there between the pinpricks of light, the gaps between creation itself, seemed to ebb and flow. Then, there was rain. The Warmaster held out a hand as iridescent blotched these sands for the first time in centuries. He took a breath and looked out toward his ragged host. Men and women huddled together with their thin leathers and patchwork robes.

He looked out toward them and then back to the sands, where water had begun to pool on its surface. "You will be the first to know of the war to come. And you, along with myself, will be the last to fall during the struggle for creation itself. For that is our blessing, in the fair lady's name."

He paused for a moment as the rain grew more intense, and he narrowed his gaze toward the space between spaces in the rain. "There will be others who wake after me, and with their coming, the war will grow ever closer. Yet, in this timeline, we shall meet our foe beyond our bauble! But first, we must build ourselves into a nation to prepare for the return of the other Courtier Officials and the war to come."

The reply was muted or drowned out by the rain. Still, it mattered not. As the day turned from day to night, Za'Yashal bellowed out commands to the huddled masses. Routes were charted out to the sea, and the Courtier Warmaster continued on his march, the caravan behind him getting larger still.

After days, days where the rain fell without end, and the sand grew clumpy, seas of sand broke. Before the caravan, an endless silver mirror rose before them, glistening as the clouds levelled out. Za'Yashal and his aides spread the word throughout the travellers, and those who saw it cheered. The Makelo Tizro, the Great Sea, appeared before them. The Warmaster looked out toward the scragged vegetation that clung greedily to the coasts and nodded. He then turned back and looked toward an aide who wore a sun-bleached expeditionary outfit; the white-black patterns that wove across the chestpiece had long since faded under the unrelenting sun. "This will do fine for a start, however, as more come. As the other Courtier Officials arrive, we will need more, and capital to support them."

He held out a hand toward the expeditionary, who reached into a bag he carried and pulled out a pickaxe. "We will start from nothing, and by the week's end, there will be a settlement here."

He shifted his gaze toward a gradual rise and nodded toward it. "There is sandstone there if we dig far enough, and dredge it from the depths. Do so, and we will put together the first of our structures."

No one moved. The Warmaster paused, and then his expression grew cold; within a minute of the change, a large swath of the caravan had dropped their things. Many tradesmen and artisans who had carried their tools with them now dispersed them amongst the people. Shovels, axes, and pickaxes. Few precious pieces of machinery were used to bore into the rise.

The aide who had stood before the Courtier Warmaster turned to join the others, and Za'Yashal simply shook his head. "Wait."

He gestured for the expeditionary to follow him as he walked out to the shoreline, crushing the green-brown vegetation underfoot. Meanwhile, the others had begun shovelling sand away from the side of the hill and were pulling out pieces of stone. The Courtier Warmaster looked back to the sea and then spoke, eyes gleaming in the light of the rising sun. "I understand there exist many states in this time?"

The expeditionary nodded. "That is correct; my homeland is Woseka, the heartland of Lavosianism. Then there's Melihosnovis, and those lands of the other faiths."

The Warmaster nodded in turn. "I see, so some progress has been made in this timeline."

"What do you mean by that?"

The Warmaster ignored the Expeditionary's question. "It is good to see. Regardless, we are going to have to work with these other nations. Do you have any recommendations for partners to work with?"

The Expeditionary nodded. "I suppose if we do want to build something here, we are going to need investments."

The Courtier Warmaster remained silent and waited for the Expeditionary to continue. After a moment, he did. "Woseka may be our best bet. However, I know another nation Oncadia seek to chart the stars. We may be able to leverage that interest as well. Then the wealth of the other great powers Aetheodaland and Styldavia must also be considered."

Za'Yashal nodded. "In time. For now, I think we shall build our foundations here along this barren shore, then we'll reach out to friendly actors."

"A rather peaceful approach, I wouldn't expect that from a self-styled Warmaster."

The Expeditionary fell silent as Za'Yashal turned to face him. "There is more to war than just composing armies. And a war of this scale revolves on pillars that someone stuck in one timeline would not be able to understand."

A stranger appeared in the distance, a distant shadow over the horizon. As the figure approached from the blotched sands, they appeared to be heavily armed and shrouded by a white-black robe. A simple white standard flew in the air as they strode through the dunes with marked ease. The Warmaster raised his eye as the lone figure approached. He turned to the Expeditionary. "Can you see his standard there?"

The Expeditionary nodded. "The black-white star is the symbol of the city of Gsel."

"Gsel?"

"Yes, it's a Wosekan city. Perhaps, we'll have our introductions sooner than we anticipated."

The figure strode past the rise that sat before the sea and then passed the caravan who were now dredging stone from the depths. He looked to the side with barely the turn of his head, then turned to focus on the Warmaster. Within a few minutes, the stranger stood before the Warmaster himself. The man spoke with a heavily accented Dehekahn. Only, the dialect he spoke had died millennia ago, surviving in the archives of Wosekan Institutions alone. "Well met Courtier Official, the Lavoskikia speaks of your return."

The man bowed as the Warmaster replied. "I see you know your scripture."

"Naturally, now from my studies I assume that you are preparing for the waking of the other Courtier Officals?"

The Courtier Warmaster nodded, and the stranger continued. "The Gsel Firm has been following developments in Kaz-Kirivaro for some time now; we have - "

The Warmaster interrupted. "Who are the Gsel Firm?"

The stranger smiled. "One of the more autonomous business organizations within Woseka, responsible for developing the financial architecture of nation-states."

"I see."

"Indeed so."

The Courtier Warmaster and the Gsel Firm Official would speak late into the shade of the evening...

Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust

It had been abrupt and unexpected that the collapse of the newly arisen Sharlutid Caliphate would come to pass. For the most part, the breakdown of social order had been ignored by border guards and the international community alike- it had been a quiet and meek surrender to the sands of time. It wasn't until the desperate began filling the vast valleys that separated the sun-stripped border between Melihosnovis and her unrecognized neighbor, clad in their shawls that hid their tan skin, and murmuring prayers to a foreign deity. It is just the beginning of a much larger crisis, one that must be solved before the fragile peace between existing cultures is overthrown. Already have some of the earliest refugees made it as far as Klipland in the heart of the country, the luckiest and most educated of them securing positions within the foreign-funded mining operations in the east centered around the newly founded urban area of Isson and the anticipated automobile manufactories in the center around Klipland. Whether or not this development will bring prosperity to the nation or begin a new area of uncertainty and chaos as it was prior to the election of Van Andre remains to be seen.

In the year of our Lady, 1963 (the 8th cycle), the Sharlutid Caliphate was ran to the ground by none other than the divine grace of Lavosi.

It is a blessing that not only the Cabinet, but every civil servant, from the ones scrubbing the floors of the lavatories in Rykstad, to this very office, must take seriously if it is to be used in such a way that is advantageous not only to our nearly complete projects domestically but also on the world stage. Therefore, I have declared that all border territories of the former Sharlutid state, specifically the southern half of the Salted Mountains, are, effective immediately, incorporated as the newest state of Melihosnovis and her peoples. It is anticipated that this may garner our Administration much needed ground with and even the respect of most opposing powers not only within our borders but across Terra. Following the completion of major economic projects around the recently developed metropolitan area of Isson, it is preferred that we may proceed with national security efforts as soon as possible, in the wake of the black dragon of Draconovox piercing its claws further into Melinia.

But that is not all of note. It has been reported that in the midst of the caravans flooding the many valleys of the mountains may there be a person of significant cultural and political importance to the Sharlutid peoples. I have already invited him to take up lodging in the Palace and to testify before the Parliament to his worthiness as the potential figurehead of the Provisional Government of the East, who's enforcers have barely traversed the other end of the Salted Mountains. It is possible that the vast oil deposits of the east may prove crucial to furthering our trade influence with nations of greater standing. Let it not be forgotten that this is all in the best interest of the new peoples under our care, which must be treated with an utmost sensitivity and mercy, that which our Fair Lady shows Humanity each time Adamous and Edelia stroll into the garden. Eventually, it is hoped they may be exposed to the saving grace of Lavosi. But, for now, we must be content with maintaining stability in the wake of this upcoming trial of our Government. I have faith in this Cabinet and this country.

Vy Lavosi,

Cry Havoc

At last has something relevant happened in the northeast. Unfortunately, the war of aggression incited by Cresr against our allies in Galayar had to threaten our business interests, and, begrudgingly by the general staff of Melihosnovis, an offer is extended to the government of the The Fire Born in reinforcing the blockade with 10 Amanzi-class submarines, 5 Buka-class patrol boats, and one Ilanga-class modern aircraft carrier, the first of its kind in Melihosnovis. It is anticipated that any combat actions against Cresr will provide our naval forces with much needed experience (and recreational opportunities) for any future danger to Melihosnovis.

More importantly is the invasion of Haifalem by none other than Draconovox. Not only is it a threat to future territorial integrity and expansion but also the continent and balance of power in the world itself. Therefore, a message has been communicated to Montais expressing gratitude once more for Oncadian acceptance of the oil deal of 1961 and offering an international brigade of 500 men of the most elite regiments of the Landwag in providing any assistance for the precious colonial assets in Haifalem. It is hoped that this may create a mutual understanding between the two nations in combating Draconovox further, if any actions of the sort should be necessary in the future.

OCS Joint Venture

The confederate department of defense gladly accepts the Melinian offer of vessels to the Confederate guarding operation. As the Confederate government has been recognized by the OCS as the military authority in this operation, they will give assignments to Melinian vessels. These ships will be sent to the 3rd Confederate Fleet, the largest fleet in operation at this time. Here, Melinian vessels can serve as a key component to the large scale surveillance mission at hand while remaining fairly safe under the heavy hand of Confederate guns.

An additional aircraft carrier will be very useful for the policing of the coast, and the submarines will be put to use, ensuring the safety of vessels operating in the area. The support gunboats will be put on assignment as well with the confederate gunboats, carrying marine patrols. All this to say, the provided support is well integrated, and becomes an asset in the overall OCS operation. Because two members of the OCS have officially sent ships, this is no longer just to Confederate operation but an OCS joint venture to ensure peace on the waterways.

At the same time these new supporting vessels are being integrated, plans to ramp up security are underway caused by recent advances. This little “accident” from Cresr will not go unpunished. In response to this little mishap, Confederate authority has declared a curfew on the coast for all ships regardless of their status. This curfew will be in effect from 2000 hours to 0600 hours. Between these times, no vessels to be on the water. If a vessel is caught on the water, patrol boats carrying marines may give this vessel a warning, if a vessel is out one hour from the start of the curfew to one hour to the end of the curfew. Any vessel on the water that does not adhere to this will be immediately boarded and taken into OCS operational custody. These arrestees will be held in the brigs of Confederate ships until formal hostilities cease or the Cresrian government pays for the set bail of these curfew offenders. Bail is set by the confederate military police and confederate Marine Corps high command.

UNREST
Liven 24/7:This just in, Harold windchip a Fire born immigrant who move to cresr just have his shop destroyed by football hooligans, the hooligans spray in harold's destroyed shop, die you confederate scumbag die just die and go back to your country f*ggot, we speak with harold, Harold: i don't know why they are doing this? Before the war and the sanctions, me and my neighbors are on good terms, they invited me to their dinner and i do the same, but now they wouldn't talk to me or let their kids come to my shop again and everytime i meet their eyes it look like they see me as an enemy, i move here 13 years ago and i've never experience something like this ever, for the 13 years i've been living here. Harold isn't the only fire born immigrant who are experiencing this, reports of attacks on fire born immigrants and their businesses have pop up all over Cresr and have increase, from 0.2% up to 53% increase, last week a young man name: daniel xawej was sentence to death after commited a massacre targetting fire born immigrant killing 2 families of 5 and 3 other's shooting them on their way to church, yesterday a woman name elly cornflack a 2nd generation fire born immigrant was assaulted by a group of young man, the group of young man were arrested and each were given 178 years in prison. Riots broke out in the capital Liven and major cities in regions such as Witsol in wolvendam etc. The goverment are trying to stop the hate crimes if not decrease it, the goverment putting the national guard's of each region to protect and prevent any hate crimes againts The Fire Born immigrants. With next year elections on the way, the party of blue cross and iron will party, will use this fact to say that the Dusan administration care more about immigrants instead of the cresrians, and promise if one of them get to power they will kick all The Fire Born immigrants out, and prioritizing the cresrians, bring pint back to it's original value and stabilize the economy. On the other hand the nationalist brotherhood, lavender butterfly party, the jade wing and nigthin party say that the The Fire Born immigrants are cresrians and they shouldn't be discriminate by what The Fire Born goverment is doing, what's weird about this is the fact that the nationalist brotherhood is a right-wing party siding with the left-wing party, Either way this wouldn't sit well with the right-wing and nationalist cresrians, but one thing for sure, next year elections will be interesting, Will Dusak from the nationalist brotherhood party will be elected again? Or the other parties? Since if the Murnik refuse the peace treaty and The Fire Born violation of cresrian water sovereignty and sanctions continues the iron will or blue cross party will win and it will be bad news for The Fire Born immigrants. This is tom fajdrün from Liven 24/7 signing out.

Négritude / Blackness

It's funny how a guerilla band roams. The way they bounce about.

The Moslem, Ghulam, had taught them the basics when he personally negotiated safe passage into the desert. It was a complicated process, of course: the Arab nomads weren't particularly interested in guiding hundreds of darker-skinned Blacks through the desert terrain of the North. But Ghulam was a funny man. He had his way with words. And because of his way with words, it was the reason why the seven of them were still alive, breathing. All of this under that night sky, pierced with starlight above. They followed Polaris, hidden in wagons, trucks, and on motorcycles. And it lead them to here. A winding road to nowhere. The Colonial Garrison had been very clear about their frugalness in regards to infrastructure. Most roads are totally unpaved. But it's through these roads, near this point, that the Draconov have been using as the lifeline to continue their advance inwards. Not tonight. Armed with rifles that belong more a museum then in battle, the young men pitch a tent, light up the gas lamp, and hush from a hidden vantage point. If it was a good night, they would have had drinks. Talk about how Dad wanted to marry him off so soon. But tonight is not a good night. It's a black night.

The wind, at least, is mild tonight. It won't create blinding conditions. One time, the sandstorm got so terrible amidst battle, that both sides collectively scattered, convinced of their own victory. The only damage that had been done was really a popped tire and some poor lorry-driver who'd been shot through his shoulder. But the gunfire itself lead to nothing, just wasted bullets all around. Here, with the sand silent except with the crawling of tiny creatures, they wait. It might be as short as ten minutes, or as long as an entire night. But they wait, and they wait, and they wait. They wait for the enemy invaders with names like Biljan and Yasenev to make themselves clear in the night. They've noticed, in the short time they've engaged in combat, that the young ones like to rev the engine. The young one returns home in a casket for his cockiness. The Black ones return home as heroes, or so Ghulam had promised the tribe they originally departed from. The Seven Saints, as they've termed themselves, are always bad news for Draconov's shaking crown.

Patrice is the handyboy. Whenever a car breaks down midway through transit, he gets to work with his wrench. And whenever a Draconov vehicle makes a stop in a captured village, he gets to work being a monkeywrench instead, slowing the advance not with blazing gunfire, but with 'mysterious technical breakdowns'. And whenever the Draconovian troops go looking for a mechanic, a mechanic for the problem /he/ created, Patrice always seems to appear. And in the night? In the Blackness? Well, a stick of dynamite in the engine always gets the message across about where the invading army has made themselves home at. It gives them a run for their money.

Younes, Afolabi, Lou, and Charles are the fighting boys. They all come from varying backgrounds of integration. Younes was born a wanderer, quick on his feet, and a born hunter with a gun his father gifted to him on his birthday. Afolabi is a strongman, a wiry, freakishly tall gentlemen, with umber skin, born from a priestly household of recently converted Christians. Lou, the boy with the crooked nose, is only half-Black, with notably Arab features in his skin as a result of a love marriage between one Romeo and another Juliet. And Charles, the youngest of them all, with a notable overbite that doesn't seem to hinder his ability to shoot from surprisingly far ranges. The four of them are bounded by blood here. They will protect their comrades until death.

Nelson Amha Yitebarke and George Amha Yitebarke are actually bounded by blood. Two smoothtalking brothers. They work with the prices of the smugglers, bring together the supplies necessary, and plan out the excursions. They're sort of the Commandos of the little cell here. Nelson, in-fact, had been personally appointed by Ghulam to lead a battalion once his 'training' out with the six others here was over with. And together? They all form together a cohesive group, one that's managed to do a surprising amount of damage for the small numbers they have. The Saints make sure to keep eachother in check. Once their deployment is over, once they return homes, they will be heroes. The class distinction, the tribal distinction, the level of 'civilization' each one individually inhabits has all but faded through combat. In their revolution, their war of self-defense against the encroaching imperialists, they have proved themselves to be a fighting force.

And they're doing it again tonight, when the pair of trucks comes into view.

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Through the window, he squints.

Erik has his hands firmly on the wheel. A conscript. Blonde hair. Bright, green eyes. If he was Oncadian, he'd fit in with the city dwellers. He'd get a comfortable office somewhere. The Black and the Brown would be kept a nice distance away from him, in their urban ghettos and in the treacherous countryside he's become acquainted with.. Actually- up to this point, they have. Erik has escaped the rare engagement. He gets a nice view of Haifalem's countryside; the Savanna, the Desert; all in return for driving some munitions around. He's become complacent, and in the night, how can you not? The only visible light ahead are the lights from his car, limited mobility all around. So it's surprising when he hears a little /thump/. His truck skids down the road for a moment, as he loses focus, before narrowly escaping a ditch. Confused, he tightens the vest around his body, before stepping out. Wheel must have blown out.

But wheels don't produce huge plumes of smoke, do they? The second he steps out, his face becomes engulfed in a black haze, his eyes blinded with a sudden burning fueling. Squinting, he feels his leg slip, and he tumbles down aside the roads edge, plowing into the sand below. When he finally has the ability to look up, the sight shocks him. The truck behind him wasn't just burning. No, the cracks and pops of munitions blow out of it, as he's realized what's happened. Hurriedly, he tries to reach for his gun. But as his hand lingers downwards, his body scratched and aching, another sight makes itself clear. Walking out of the smoke, their faces covered in the keffiyeh, the symbol of death itself for the invading army, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven people make themselves known. Gripping the guns in their hands, the mission they were assigned with tonight means only one thing. Erik has to go.

And as they plunge forward, throwing him back to the ground with the brr-paw of their guns, Erik's last sight is simple. The men he'd been able to ignore for long enough are here to burn him beyond recognition. Grabbing him by the arms, unable to resist, Erik joins his comrade in the burning truck, thrown into the exploding vehicle. And with a silent huff, the Seven Saints escape into the night, not to be seen again. Their is a world to win, and a nation to defend.

A fortress to storm. The Fortress of the Hopeless awaits.

ВИЙТИ З КОТЛА… / TO GO OUT OF THE CAULDRON…

The unanimous approval of OCS Resolution No. 10 imposes a general ceasefire on the warring nations of Eastern Coldonia. With a strong Fireborn naval force ready to crack down on anyone who defies the will of the OCS Assembly and Joint Security Council, the militaries of Cresr, Galayar, and Murnik begin cautiously withdrawing back to their territories. Every evacuation is conducted in fear of a sudden enemy attack.

But no attack ever comes, and the wounded and dead are soon gathered to return home. All that remains on the battlefield are a few hastily dug trenches, gaping shell craters, and blackened hulks of destroyed vehicles. Due to the shortness of the conflict, casualties have been relatively light. Cresr’s troops were able to advance several kilometers into Galayar before being halted by superior numbers, while a tense standoff between Cresrian and Murnikian troops nearly led to fighting on a second front. Despite the temporary occupation of a handful of border posts and border settlements, no land has changed hands.

Thus, the East returns to a tense and unhappy peace.

Cresr has badly damaged its relationship with its neighbors, revealing a territorial ambition that few outsiders had previously noticed. Dušan Guarneri must navigate the political fallout of a failed war; keeping the political favor of the Cresrian people will be a challenge. However, he has managed to secure one benefit from the chaos— a telegram from the Styldavian Foreign Minister guaranteeing Cresr’s independence in exchange for peace and non-aggression.

Murnik has emerged intact from the crisis, although the panic caused by the threat of invasion created a temporary economic shock. The prospect of unprovoked aggression will likely spur Murnik’s government to either massively expand their armed forces or seek out security alliances with the great powers of Coldonia. The only question remaining is whether these measures will be taken under a genuine concern for national security... or to get revenge against Cresr...

Galayar absorbs the few losses easily and continues down its current path with no deviation. The massive force on the eastern border is a mighty show of force intended not only for Cresr, but for other adversaries close to home. Yet the military planners of these nations notice the sluggish, unfocused response by Galayar’s military. Perhaps if the war had lasted a bit longer, the Galayarese would have exacted a much heavier price from the invaders. The Troika’s decision not to seek further revenge against an unprovoked attack is also intriguing. A sign of moderation, or weakness? Only time will tell.
