Good to see You're doing well! I remember joining here when I was 21 and starting with a 2 week work evaluation, I made Xinzhoa on the bus to work in the early morning.

I usually can remember some things that had an impact on me mentally I think, good and the bad.
For example I can remember the time me and my sister were trying to feed the geese with bread when we were little, but we suddenly saw them approaching us with their wingspread and we ran away behind a bush scared. Our grandmother scolded us.
I can remember the moment the East Asian Alliance was formed when I hopped into our regional chatroom and 
The Socialist Republic of Saian was there. We talked and got along so well we made EAA and Saian brought 
Khingan in. And I was grinning when everyone got worried at our alliance causing all to try make their own lol

Newmerica descends into Civil War!

NOUVEAU MONTRÉAL- (NFP) It has been over 3 months since the Nancy Jones and the Patriot Vanguard forces seized control over Aduenam City, Newmerica’s capital and multiple strategic islands. The most populated island, O'ahu, remains contested as urban fighting intensifies on the outer suburbs of multiple major cities. This conflict has been called the Newmerican Civil War by Newmerican social media users.
Meanwhile on Maui island, Ryan Beaumont. President elect of the Republican Federation had seeked refuge and is currently commanding federalist forces from Neveau Montreal against the Patriot Vanguards.
Patriot Vanguards forces had made little success landing onto the Republican Federation strongholds of Maui Island and the Pohakuloa Training Area where the United Provinces military forces have been stationed since the start of the armed conflict. Initial reports from 3 months ago shows Mathornian forces aiding the federalist forces in securing the Pohakuloa Training Area, and repelling a full scale assault of the base by the Patriot Vanguards.
Furthermore, with the introduction of the Celestial Empire of Breen supporting the Jones administration, armed fighting at sea and air was reported between the U.P. and C.E forces, however the resolution of the engagement is unknown.
Siene de Provence, Maui reported daily missile barrages to the industry district of the city, which most are intercepted by the Newmerican Patriot Systems, in which supplies are reported to be dwindling by Lt. Col. Andrew Jones Maui Army & Air National Guard Commanding.
Unconfirmed reports were received by the Newmerica Free Press on Maui island that the Crimson Insurgency are restructuring and establishing a civil arms to their organization named the “Socialist Union '' of Greater Newmerican States. However R.F. federal forces have not reported any military engagement with the Crimson insurgent separatists since Red Christmas (25 Dec, 2023).
Current civilian and military casualties are unknown but is estimated over 300. Whereas thousands have been displaced.

HANOI - (TST) Premier Chinh Hoang announced today at the Premier Palace that an “Expeditionary Force” code name “Chi Long” after the Sino-Saianese mythical dragon of protection will be formed as part of Operation “Rising Tides.”
Chi Long Expeditionary Group is tasked to retrieve Saianese citizens and IUSN citizens that are currently trapped on the Hawaiian archipelago or were unaccounted for during the initial hasty evacuation that was demanded by the Jones Junta.
The Supreme People’s Presidium passed Military Order 3-2424 unanimously, allowing the Chi Long Expeditionary Group to use any force deemed situationally applicable to defend itself, Saianese citizens, and Saianese assets accordingly, including lethal force.

Many Saianese have expressed mix opinions regarding the issue, some taking to social media Tweeting their approval to the USSRS involvement into the Newmerican “Civil War” (NFP) to save Saianese nationals, whereas others are dismayed over the regional destabilization of the Pacific Theater which has affected Saianese key energy infrastructure as the USSR imports 1/6 of petroleum and oil products from Newmerica.
Rolling blackouts in the countryside were common through the December and February months, where most energy supplies were redirected to major cities as Sai-Newmerican civilian trade routes were disrupted. The Saianese Aerospace Industry, notably the Saianese branch of the Intercontinental Union of Socialist Nations Space Agency was plagued with project delays as critical aircraft hardware imports were pushed and canceled due to the Newmerican Civil War.

Comprising the state-of-the-art USSRS Taichung Type-075 amphibious assault ship, two amphibious assault dock ships (the USSRS Macau and USSRS Phnom Penh), two Type-055 destroyers (the USSRS Trưng Trắc and USSRS Trưng Nhị), the imposing Kirov-class cruiser USSRS Chiang Mai, the swift Alexander-class Minesweeper USSRS Valor, and over 2,200 motivated People's Red Marines Corps, the fleet set sail with purpose.
In a parallel development, an unverified report suggests that the enigmatic Typhoon-class carrier, USSRS Stone Fish, also departed from the Port of Fuzhou during the same timeframe. The presence of these naval assets underscores heightened regional tensions and strategic maneuvers in the Pacific maritime theater.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, the Chi Long Expeditionary Force and the elusive Stone Fish sailed into the vast expanse of the open sea, leaving behind a wake of anticipation and intrigue of port onlookers.

ADUENAM CITY - (PNN) In a resolute address to the nation, President Nancy Jones stood before the Patriot Vanguard flag, her expression stern and unwavering. The situation unfolding at the contested zones had reached a critical juncture, and she was determined to make her stance clear.
“My fellow Newmerican Vanguards” President Nancy Jones, her voice echoing through the hallowed halls of the Capitol. “Today, I stand before you not as a politician, but as a guardian of our sovereignty, our newfound values, and our people.”
The issue at hand is the foreign military involvement within our borders. For months, tensions had escalated as troops from the United Provinces encroached upon our soil. Their stated purpose was to combat our “illegitimate” government by supporting the disgraced Ryan Beaumont, but President Jones saw through the thinly veiled intentions.
Amidst the arrival of the Celestial Empire of Breen, the Patriot Vanguard forces valiantly maintained the front lines over the past few months. Only sporadic skirmishes were reported in the border regions. However, Premier Chinh Hoang’s recent announcement from the Union of Savashanist Socialist Republic seems to suggest signs of the slumbering Red Dragon awakening to enter our conflict.
“Let us not mince words,” she continued, her gaze unwavering. “What we are witnessing is an invasion—an affront to our territorial integrity and an insult to our democratic principles by the United Provinces and the rapidly approaching Saianese Savashanists.”
The Mathornian forces had established their strong presence in Republican Federation control zones, their armored vehicles patrolling Newmerican towns and villages side by side with the Federalists, and their airpower remained a challenge. Reports of arbitrary arrests, property seizures, and intimidation tactics flooded the Patriot News Network. Families were torn apart, livelihoods disrupted, and fear gripped the hearts of Newmericans living in the affected regions.
“Our new Constitution of the Patriot Vanguards,” President Adams declared, her voice rising, “guarantees the right to life and liberty. These rights extend to every Newmerican citizen who has earned their place. We will not tolerate foreign boots trampling upon our sacred soil.” President Jones is expected to announce the Patriot Defense Protocol 24 which entails a revamped Drafting System in the following days.

It's an election year in 
Mathorn, in November the nation will go to the polls in Congressional and Presidential elections. Whilst both branches of government are equally important, most observers are focused on the race for George House. The Conservatives' candidate, President pro tempore of the Senate and Senator, Lewis Wood, is in pole position.
Wood's campaign is ahead in every opinion polls and the other main party, the Liberal Party, does not have a clear candidate heading into the party's convention. This is widely seen as a weakness, and is something that a major political party has not experienced since the election of 1759. The Conservatives also have a massive financial advantage at this stage of the campaign, having M£45 Million cash on hand, compared to the Liberal's M£20 Million.
The Liberals, having won the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections with disgraced President Sam White, are searching for a candidate after President Zoe Sharp ruled herself out of the contest. Former President Adam Carver (2021-2022) is seen as the forerunner, although he has not officially thrown his hat into the ring. In fact, no candidate has thrown their hat into the ring for the Liberals, with the party exhausted from scandal after scandal in recent years.
Other rumored candidates include Senator George Brown, an upon coming rookie Senator from the party's 2022 intake; Edmund George, the current Secretary of Defence; and Sarah Walker, the Current Vice-President. Numerous other candidates are being banded around, however, the party seems to be coalescing around one of the four main candidates.
The Liberals party convention runs from 20 May - 24 May, with the party's delegates voting to decide its presidential ticket on the Friday of that week.
