The Americans were trying out steam tanks in WW1, there's articles in Wikipedia.
Warhammer also has steam tanks if your looking for inspiration.
We did have some stunties living in Brazil a while back ,you could just happen to find some steam tank relics there ?

I don't want to use the steam tanks from Warhammer they don't really look like something that could handle extreme cold conditions.

Lera dusted himself off, straightening his bowtie, and making sure he looked halfway decent on the television pointed towards him. This was the first time he’d be making an international announcement for the sake of Sweden, and he found himself ever so slightly terrified. Sure, Sweden was by no means a powerhouse of a nation, but it certainly wasn’t small. For all he knew, one wrong word and he could drag the nation into a war.

”People of the Swedish Republic, I stand here today to speak of a great tragedy which has befallen the now Chinese nation of Taiwan. They were under the protective sphere of the Unovians, and when the Chinese demanded the small nation, rather than put up any resistance the Unovians rolled over and let the island damn itself. While I understand just how serious a threat of war is, China is not exactly a nation capable of fighting a long war at this moment, they’ve just stabilized from a Civil War. This was a failure of Unovian power to stop the Taiwanese government from making a grave error. This was also a failure on the Chinese behalf, the failure to move on, and not torture the descendants of Nationalist China. I know that these words will likely fall on deaf ears, but regardless, Sweden sends it’s best wishes to those stuck in communist occupied Taiwan. May whatever exists keep you safe.”

It’s short, but I though I may as well comment.

If they had the radio power no doubt the Contable would have been franticly sending back all the findings they had seen in this sudden appearance here was a airship that could destroy their hard made and fought for survival in land their nation called home.

The Chinese Destroyer slowly began to ascend higher and higher before it finally simply disappeared, a massive sonic boom being left in its wake as it returned back to Taiwan.
Though to help escort the strangers Two smaller gunboats leave the destroyer before its eventual disappearance.
Said ships only stay near the airship to answer any questions or give a course change.

The journey to the Coordinates would be a bit as it was in Taiwan, the closest area that technically was Chinese territory with an area large enough for landing if the airship wanted to. Around it all however were curious citizens, a bit shocked at the state of the technology of the approaching airship.. though it did make a few of the PLA veterans laugh.

On it's arrival to Taiwan and the field the Coordinates were they'd find a large area sectioned off by the MSS and PAP while the PLA destroyer from earlier simply hovered above it all.
The gunboats were quickly replaced by helicopters, both of which just watched, waiting to see if the airship had the capability of landing itself or needing help.

On the ground waited MSS agent, Colonel Liang. He was most likely quite different compared to any these strange explorers have faced. His arms were.. well they weren't flesh but metal.. his eyes were removed and replaced by implants, they were as well black minus a red glowing iris, smaller than a normal human one surrounded by 4 smaller ones.
Overall Liang's face wasn't flesh but metal and plastic. He stood taller than most, especially asians at 7 ft tall, most likely attributed to his cybernetics.
When he spoke his voice was modulated, deeper and in English.

When the explorers came to the green grass below Liang began to talk,
"Name, age and Allegiance?", he'd ask while also putting his hand out as if waiting for the hand.

In the distance meanwhile PAP officers began to yell at the citizens while car horns could be heard.

On August 10th, 1941, U-144 was under the command of Kptlt. Gert von Mittelstaedt. It was on it’s first patrol of the Baltic Sea. At that time she only had one kill, M-78, a Soviet submarine sunk by one of U-144’s torpedoes on June 23rd of 1941. However on this day U-144 will receive a similar fate, taking a torpedo from the Soviet sub ShCh-307, and sinking into the Baltic.

U-144’s wreck wasn’t ever found. It’s suspected she ended up settling on the seafloor right below where she had been hit, but there had never been a confirmation of the fact, however a certain low flying aircraft would soon discover the answer. One of the first GE-1’s out of the factory had been assigned to the Finnish Bay, and while the crew found the work redundant, considering no nation had qualms enough Sweden to mine it’s waters, they were still pleased to fly the new craft, that was until the sonar operator came screaming into the cockpit reporting an abnormally sized object on the seafloor. Quickly the pilot yanked on the stick to send the craft back around to where the sonar had picked up the object, carefully stalling the craft above it. They couldn’t go inspecting it themselves, it was far too deep, and the GE-1 wasn’t exactly a submarine. As such, they made a call for the Coast Guard, which fortunately was still in Estonia, and they soon found themselves watching a small RC submarine dive down towards the dark blue. Eventually, they hit something, and thanks to a keen-eyed sailor, discovered it to be an old Flak 30 AA gun, used on U-Boats of all types. This they realized, was U-144.

A few more minutes of exploration would prove her to be in a far worse state than perceived by the upright AA gun. She was in a similar state to U-869, laying upright, her conning tower still standing, though with a noticeable crushed can appearance, the whole of it being titled back. Her lower midship was completely wrecked, though that was to be expected, she’d been torpedoed, however there was some good news to the whole thing, as the top layers of steel had held up, which was presumably what was keeping the conning tower where it was, alongside the fact that her bow and stern were dented, but in otherwise fine condition, excluding the deterioration that comes with being under the water for so long, but it seemed that the saltiness of the Baltic had saved her some harm. Then the question came “What the hell do we do with it?” The response from the Naval Minister was quite clear what to do with it, “Tell the public and leave it the hell alone, it’s not the Navy’s business.” As such, the Coast Guard vessel and the GE-1 went on their merry ways, however the Coast Guard vessel made sure to inform other vessels of the wreck and to “Keep an eye out for any idiots that try to dive down to it.”

SCGV Vasa was the first ship to patrol the area, however it had a rough time of it, as they found not a small fishing trawler and a few idiots, but an entire recovery team and a large dredger. More concerningly, they found the SRV Hälsingborg with it’s winches already lowered into the water, and it’s RM Sub distinctly missing from it’s mount at the rear of the ship. So, they did as protocol ordered, firing a blank from it’s frontal 203mm gun. This caught the attention of the Captain of the Hälsingborg, who radioed into the Vasa, explaining what the hell they were doing. “Hälsingborg isn’t a Swedish Navy vessel anymore, you know that right? Mr. Bjorklund bought it at auction and decided to make use of it here. We were going to go look for U-426, however this was far closer, and in Mr. Bjorklund’s eyes, far cheaper. We got the dredge from a company near Ystad. If you wish for us to stop, give the order, I figure that the last thing Bjorklund would like to deal with is a sunken recovery vessel and a dredge stuck on the seafloor.” This left Vasa in a situation it wasn’t permitted to handle, which ended up forcing it’s Captain to make a snap choice. “You can continue, but you’re going to let some of our men aboard to make sure you don’t kill yourselves. Your winches are already poorly set up.” There was a brief silence from the other vessel, but soon enough a reply came through “Wilco. Send them over, we’ll have some coffee waiting.”

With the assistance of the Coast Guard, things ran much smoother, as with the winches properly connected to the dredge via the arms of the RM, it began to slowly lift the old warship from the bottom, stopping just before it reached the gap of the pontoons, it’s silhouette vaguely apparent through the dark water. While the Coast Guard members went about putting a cargo net underneath it, similar to what was used to recover the H.L. Hunley in the states, except this was a ship nearly four times the size, but a fortunate 77 years younger. Even still, the operation was a delicate one, every creak from her aged midship terrifying the men as they slowly leveraged the net beneath the behemoth. Eventually, she surfaced for the water for the first time in 141 years, her hull orange from rust, yet still glimmering ever so slightly from the sun hitting her body. However, there was only so much time that could be wasted admiring the vessel, she was in need of two things, a chemical wash, and a proper restoration effort.

For references, the GE-1 can be seen on discord, and for a similar (but older) ship to Hälsingborg, look up SMS Vulkan

"McCoy of Xeo," he said taking the hand to shake. He had seen prosthetic before but theses where strange ones indeed.

Instead of shaking Liang grabbed McCoy by the wrist and turned his hand over, staring at his hand for a solid 5 seconds.
"Logged..."

Some soldiers equipped with Zhànshì Series Type 80 ICS Mediums (refer to PLA factbook for reference if wanted) walked over.
"There's no need for that Colonel.", an older sounding voice spoke, approaching from behind the cyborg. Liang proceeded to step to the left and turn his torso to face the voice. Approaching was an elderly man, maybe in his mid 70's. Like most modern Chinese politicians he wore a Zhongshan suit, light grey in colour under a black overcoat. In one hand was a cane though the man seemed to stand and walk mostly straight.
"Return to your duties Colonel, I trust speaking to esteemed guests isn't isn't department?", the man asked.

One may of thought this cyborg offended or even wanting to squash this weak elder.. though it was quite the opposite. Respectfully Liang gave a slight bow.
"Shì de tóngzhì.", Liang spoke before walking away.

The man faced McCoy and instead shook his hand properly.
"Hello Mr. McCoy, I am Shen Tao", he'd say then smirk.. yea he was about to give the full name of his position within the party, he took a deep breathe then spoke once more.
"I am head of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party... I also bear membership within the Politburo and its standing committee.", he'd explain.

"Now..", he'd look at the airship.. quite amazed it actually flew.
"Where did you come from.", he'd begin to gesture for McCoy to follow as soldiers flanked the left & right of the two. It seemed Shen was leading McCoy to a convoy of black vehicles.
