In response to a terrorist attack, you have granted extraordinary powers to those responsible for rooting out terror threats within The Odyessians.
The Issue
A Violetist priest who criticised the national curfew and the government’s response to recent events was arrested. He was then ‘heavily questioned’ for twelve hours, with a bucket of soapy frogs and a rubber wetsuit with the bottom cut out of it. Now free, the fellow is making noises about human rights and inherent dignity, while complaining about the ‘advanced questioning tactics’ being used.
Chose Option One:
“It’s not just that I was unfairly arrested,” complains the limping clergyman, Sherlock Abbott, “but also that the whole approach being taken is not going to be effective. There’s reams of evidence that torture does not work as an interrogation technique, and that the most effective form of questioning is a friendly and open manner, to encourage a cooperative attitude. You must ban the use of physical and mental abuse as a state tool of interrogation.”

Tea and biscuits have replaced waterboarding and sleep deprivation as the primary tools of interrogation
The Story So Far
Since The Odyessians suffered a terrorist attack in the heart of Centennial, you have been looking to unpick the support network behind the suicide bombers, and to identify the brains behind the operation...
The Issue
Success! Your chosen methods appear to have paid dividends, and your Intelligence Services have identified the terrorist ringleader behind the Centennial Stock Exchange bombings. What’s more, you know exactly where his fortified HQ compound is. The only problem? It’s deep within the nation of Blackacre, who historically haven’t been too keen on Odyessiansian military actions within their sovereign territory.
Chose Option 3
“This terrorist has declared war on The Odyessians, and he can’t escape justice by sheltering within a foreign power!” asserts General Payne, waving her hands in the air, indicating that she does in fact care. “I’m going to need a rapid insertion force of paratroopers for a surgical strike on the camp, with a fighter escort to keep Blackacre from interfering. For The Federal Republic!”

I would like to also announce my candidacy to become the regions First Speaker. I know there isn’t currently a position for Speaker but I believe it should be added and if you elect me as your Senator I will ensure we establish that position to better guide congress.
As Speaker I would, gather Congress, help create and revise laws, and keep this union together, meaning I will do my best to see both perspectives of each nations arguments and be as bipartisan as I can be. I believe we need a lot of new laws and I can help guide congress into the creation and implementation of those laws. So please elect me as your Senator so I can create a new position which would make congress the size of 3 instead of 2

So I would appriciate it, if you didn’t include that phrase in your name... Millions of people were MURDERED. People need to stop overlooking awful atrocities for a good laugh/meme. Our generation has become so uncaring to awful acts of terror. Look at all the 9/11 memes, then look at how many Pearl Harbor memes there are. How have we changed from a mindset of care to absolutely none whatsoever

The Story So Far
When the Centennial Stock Exchange was destroyed by terrorist attack, it was a blow to the heart of The Odyessians. The terrorists responsible were identified, as well as the mastermind behind the attack. Now, the crisis is over.
The Issue
Time moves on, and most Odyessiansians have begun to drift back into their normal routines. However, for the families of the victims of the attack, the void caused by the absence of their loved ones will be felt for the rest of their lives. The site where the terrorists struck is now being cleared of rubble, and debate has begun over the future of the area.
Chose Option 2
“No. We can’t let them think they hurt us!” asserts stockbroker Miranda Sorin, who lost several colleagues to the bombing, showing her depth of grief by conducting half a dozen online trades as she talks to you. “The best way of reacting to terror is business as usual. Have a new Stock Exchange built, bigger and better than before, with faster trading connections and more computing power. Let’s look to the future rather than the past.”

I'm very happy to have gotten this region active with a constitution and proper government to lead this region. Unfortunately there are some personal issues I have going on in life right now that I must attend to. Therefore I will be resigning as the WA Delegate and as your President and will be handing over my presidency to my VP. He shall have all the executive authority that I would, anyways good luck to you all I hope to return as your WA Delegate within the next few months if you will have me of course!

Exciting news! I recieved a telegram from The odyessians inviting us to join him in Civilization game nights! THIS DOES NOT MEAN JOIN Civilization He made that very clear, he is not trying to recruit people. He is simply looking for nations intrested in playing the game Sid Miers every Saturday for about an hour or more for one month. At the end of the month the season will conclude and they are going to post the outcome with a picture of the map and the nations involved and make it Civilization regional map for the month in a factbook until the next season concludes. The odyessians made it very clear that if you are intrested to message him directly or on discord. Again you do not need to join the region to be in this role-play it is an international community event
