Fact of the day: Modern pilot helmets have eye tracking sensors that allow pilots to look at a target and input a command to lock onto it. These helmets also come with a heads up display, which allows the pilot to lock onto things, but also allows the pilot to see through the aircraft of things highlighted by the radar and sensors.

Fact of the day: Induction cooking is when an electrical cooking system powers a copper coil creating an oscillating magnetic field with alternating current. This magnetic field directly creates dozens of eddy currents in a ferromagnetic cookware, which, if all uniform would create an electric current, but since the magnetic field is oscillating, the eddies are not uniform and thus create heat as the electrons make micro-movements inside of the pot's metal. This means, that since the cookware is being heated directly, the surface of the induction system is cool to the touch and is unable to burn people, this also means that induction cooking is typically more efficient since less energy is lost to ambient air.

Fact of the day: In the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a statue of Bruce Lee was built in celebration of peace in the region that stands for solidarity in the divided city. Bruce Lee was picked because all the ethnic groups couldn't come to a peaceful choice of person, so some decided pop culture figures would be best and they picked Bruce Lee because they liked Kung Fu. The statue was vandalized after it was completed by one of the ethnic groups, claiming that it was looking int heir direction in a threatening manner, so the statue was turned to face a "neutral" direction and no further incidents have occurred.

Story time with Fishy: Today as I was riding the bus to work, we stop to pick up an old lady with a trolley cart thing. She gets onto the bus, but due to COVID-19 the buses aren't allowed to have people seated in the front sections, this means the trolley lady can't sit where she's meant to sit; however, the bus driver is used to this and tells her to go to the second row of seats not the first, and sit there, holding onto her trolley while it sits in the front row where it fits. The old lady stands confused for about half a minute before she starts to pry at the front row seats that are locked upright to prevent people from sitting there, while the bus driver tells her to move to the second row, and telling a Greek guy to switch seats for the old trolley lady. The Greek guy waves off the bus driver and tells her that the lady can sit in the front, but after a small back and fourth, he relents and gets out of his seat to help the old lady to pull down the front seat, which is locked. The bus driver, fed up with this stupidity gets out of the bus, but due to a safety shield keeping her safe from people, has to walk around the front of the bus to re-enter. Once in, she grabs the man, seats him in the second row on the other side of the bus and points the old lady to the second row where she sits, but before she can complain about her trolley, the bus driver pushes it against the front row and has her hold it. We then set off, this took 5 minutes to play out.

Fact of the day: Tornadoes are formed when warm front and a cold front collide with one another, the cold front gets sucked down but the warm front is sucked up, the resulting vortex from the two currents is the tornado we all get to watch and see.
