The Hagia Sofia is located in Turkey. Therefore, it is the Turkish people and their government that get to decide whether it is a mosque or church or museum. No other country gets to decide that. That is my opinion on the subject.
Furthermore, Christians have gone into countries like India and completely destroyed Hindu and Buddhist temples and replaced them with churches. Then, when the Indian government tries to rebuild the original Hindu or Buddhist temple, Christians consider that "discrimination" against their religion. Based on this, Christians have no right to complain of the Hagia Sofia being turned into a mosque.

Although the country Yurdakulland has expressed views that we disagree with on some points and have found their comment to be somewhat confrontational we don't consider these to be adequate reasons to expel Yurdakulland or to delete their comment. To clear up any negative notions that our members may have derived from their comment we ask Yurdakulland to simply reaffirm their commitment to the unity and welfare of all Turkic people. We hope that if a disagreement arises the esteemed members of the Turkic Union, rather than arguing and aggrieving each other can have comprehensive and productive discussions that would contribute to our knowledge and foster mutual understanding.
