The Xussman Delegation votes IN FAVOR of TCN Resolution #032. While Xusma had sided with anti-government militias in the past under previous rule, Xusma wishes to improve stability within the Republic of Lyoa and is willing to offer help after this resolution.

The United Commonwealths of Gagium will vote AGAINST TCN Resolution 32. We firmly believe that it is not in the TCN's best interest to pick a side in the ongoing hostilities occuring in the Republic of Lyoa, nor do we think it is beneficial to label those fighting against the Lyoan government as terrorist organizations. While we do find a number of tactics utilized by many of these militias to be questionable and reprehensible, a number of reports (with varying degrees of reliability) have shown that some such tactics have also been used by the LNDF.

"The Salisfordian delegation votes IN FAVOR of TCN Resolution #032. We believe this resolution to be necessary, not only to hopefully prevent TCN member states from providing help to these groups, but also to assist the Republic of Lyoa in maintaining stability in their fledgling republic following the destructive civil war that racked their country not too long ago. Therefore, we find voting in favor of this resolution to be a right thing to do and call upon other TCN member states to vote in favor of it as well."

The delegation of Eminople moves to veto this resolution. We believe that it isn't right to label the groups fighting against the Lyoan government as terrorists because the LNDF has used very similar tactics that the other groups have used. Make no mistake, we fully condemn the tactics of the other militias, but we must also take into account that the LNDF must also be held to the same standard if we were to label the other groups as terrorist organizations. It is also our belief that the TCN should not get involved in this conflict and should not pick a side.

"The Constitutional Republic of Sequoyah will vote Against this resolution. It is not the business of foreign governments to meddle in the affairs of developing nations, even when they are invited to do so. We are wholeheartedly against any TCN involvement in this internal conflict."
Some Sequoyan Pundits, including writers for the Angeles Arbiter, suspect that Adama may have asked the delegation to vote against the resolution to further destabilize Lyoa and keep it from intervening in Sequoyan affairs. As one Arbiter Op-ed writer put it, "the more war there is in Lyoa the less Lyoans there are in Sequoyah." Others, including writers in an op-ed for the San Juan Diego Sun, decried the vote, stating that "Adama has violated his oath of office and his power to order about our delegation should be called into question."

The Government of Arcadia votes AGAINST this resolution. The LNDF has shown itself to use the same tactics as the very group some of this body claims to want to condemn. It is hypocritical for the TCN to condemn these so called “terrorists” while condoning the LNDF’s actions.

While a stable Lyoa is something we wish to see from the Islamic Republic this resolution can not receive support from us. The Islamic Republic will veto the resolution on the account that a precedent was set that after TCN Resolution 025 in which the TCN should not get involved in a conflict that does not span across the international community nor involve itself in conflicts where information is not readily available that would give an exact picture of what is happening.

Although Terranihil condemns the terrorists operating within Lyoa, Terranihil also concurs with the reasoning that TCN resolutions should only regard issues that affect multiple countries or Terraconserva as a whole. Seeing that the resolution has been vetoed thrice over, Terranihil abstains.
