Also holy crap I remembered making this post
I've immersed myself fully in Star Trek again after a 3 year hiatus, and have discovered Picard isn't very good. It's grimdark, it feels nothing like TNG, and on top of that they butchered Picard.
Solid recommendation: It's a NO from me.

I didn't actually get into Trek until a couple years ago
Yeh. I just found out there was a lot more to it than the shows and films.
There's a ton of comics and novels, and a lot of wonderful fanmade music.
I was surprised Star Trek had comics, of all bloody things.
It's to be expected though.
Yeah. To be fair I didn't expect Transformers to have comics either.
Huh. Some of my first exposure to Transformers was through comics.
My first exposure was Bayformers. It wasn't until like last year that I discovered all the various comics.
Scratch what I said earlier, I think the first thing I ever saw related to TF was DOTM

Huh. I actually haven't seen it in a while now.
I think I rewatched DOTM last spring.
The film I've watched the most times is AOE, then DOTM and ROTF, then 2007, and lastly TLK because I refuse to slog through that one again
