Start of Galaxy RP!
In a faraway Galaxy, orbiting the red dwarf star Nemesis, lies a world called Techulos. Life on this planet did not evolve through carbon bonding, as it does elsewhere, but through natural synthesis of gears, levers, pistons, and metal, for Techulos is a machine planet. The Techulonians are between 15 and 40 feet tall on average. They are powered by a heart-like device called a core. They have built in weapons, and are highly intelligent. Their most sacred site is the Vector of Cores, where all new Techulonians are born. They are a democratic people, currently led by the recently elected Guardian, known as Sigma.
Approximately 6.342 million light years from Terra Prime (formerly known as Earth) there exists a planet known as Aeterna. Aeterna orbits a neutron star known as Calag. On Aeterna, silicon rather than carbon based lifeforms have evolved, and they are humanoid and extremely intelligent. Aeternians are tall and slim, ranging between 7 and 8 light-nanoseconds. Aeterna takes 1.38 Terra Prime hours to orbit its star at an orbital distance of 3 million meters (300,000 km) and roughly the mass of Terra Two (Mars).

A Fact about Aeterna:
Due to its proximity to Calag, Aeterna is tidally locked. One side of the planet is permanently 400 degrees Celsius and the other -100 degrees Celsius. Due to these extremes in temperature, three different types of Aeternians have evolved, one suited for the heat, one suited for the cold, and one suited for the mild temperatures along the terminator of the planet (27 degrees Celsius).
Another Fact about Aeterna:
Aeterna has a radius of 4,015 km. Its star, Calag, has a radius of 10 km. Due to their size difference, Aeterna dwarfs the star it orbits. 64,722,703 Calags could fit inside of Aeterna, assuming that no spaces were left inside.
Approaching Aeterna, it would appear that it is orbiting no star at all and that it is a "rogue planet", or a planet that does not orbit a body.
In stellar year 456, Sigma ordered the starship Pathfinder to travel toward a previously unexplored sector near Terra Prime...
