As Magicia, I want to clear a few things up-
I did not come to this region as a raider. It is true I have raiding experience, but it has been over a year since I participated in a raid.
I came to this region to gain power in a region that had some potential, not as a raiding puppet.
I owe no loyalty to any side, but I understand that some defences are justified, but this one was more of a destructive intervention.
Are you not meant to safeguard self-determination and democracy? Then why did you destroy the little chance this region had at a productive future?
Go on, suppress this post and banject this nation. My statement has been made, and that is all.

Stariiaa and Ivatanes

I understand that even as the storm is over, the aftermath still remains. People are mad justifiably, while raiders are blaming people for the damage they caused. Regardless, I would like to wish Philippines a safe and speedy recovery from the ordeal that had happened. And to the raiders saying that the region would’ve been better in their hands, are you hearing yourself? Everyone, please understand that while it does not seem like it, the defenders can’t do much. The fact that they are even trying to do this with their own free will is enough. They have their own things to take care of, it is not their job to defend this region, it is a voluntary thing.

Whatever raiders that will lash out at me or raider sympathisers, do what you want, say what you say, Philippines is once more free. Good luck, and best wishes.

I really would not have a problem, if this region is functional again, even with a fenda-supported government.

The notion that this region is inactive and devoid of life is a mere propaganda tactic employed by these raiders to justify their actions. These raiders fail to grasp the unique dynamics of this region, where nations with inherent conservatism and a high regard for personal space coexist.

Raiders seek to impose their own vision of the Philippines, disregarding the existing status quo. Why do some nations remain in this region despite its perceived inactivity, when they have the freedom to relocate to regions with more vibrant activity? Their decision to stay suggests a preference for the Philippines as it is, rather than the version the raiders insist upon.

The assertion that the Philippines is lifeless without the raiders' presence and activities is nothing more than propaganda designed to legitimize their actions.

Those people love this region because, once, this region was active, and they have memories from that time. The intervening forces were trying to recreate this region's memorable past(in the capacity of activity and an effective leadership).

There has always been efforts to maintain activity in the region regardless of raider intervention, and it's especially disrespectful to the players who've once poured their hearts into the region to insinuate this was somehow one of the little chances the region had at a productive future.

With their love for St. Patrick's Day, posts full of either copy-paste quotes from the Robredo campaign or Google Translate-like text, and low residency in the region, I don't quite believe they're a native of the Philippines in the real-world sense or the NationStates sense, so their presence here is negligible.

I'm new to this region and don't know what's going on, so if anyone can bring me up to speed I would really appreciate it.

"Personal Space", that's a good one. Anyways good luck with maintaining the activity we restored to your region, just be more careful with your embassies this time around and we won't have a reason to come back ;)

as nice as this sounds, this is incredibly misleading especially considering how much puppet bloat this region is

I wish I could speak tagalog, but I can't.
I can only speak Bisaya, English, and Japanese. :'(

Hello!
So, in summary, this region got raided by Sparkalia and other regions.
And then the defenders (NPA, TITO, etc.), liberated the Philippines, and we got the region back.
aaaaand, this region's probably gonna be dead again :l
(if you don't know what raiding or defending is, please read this dispatch)

ayeee same, the region I was born in primarily uses English and Bisaya. Our education system isn't really that effective in teaching Tagalog

I arrived wayyy after the initial takeover by the first round of intervening forces, and only arrived to try and give this region more activity because the earlier revitalization had failed.

It was fun while it lasted... The democratically-elected native government, that is :>

I was explaining what happened to the region to the newbie....
