Hello!!!

Secular state of the philippines

My humble apologizes to my region for my absence and lack of participation for the previous months. I'm uncertain on what to follow considering my lack of information. I too am shocked by this news coming from our beloved Delegate, Ariusgrad. For whatever reason the moderators decided to retract his WA membership, it must be respected but this provides us an incident to recover. Rest assured, Ecnav Enitsuj had served us well before and will serve us now. His nation will unite us in this path of uncertainty.

I implore everyone to be vigilant. In these uncertain hours of our region, who knows when will the enemy attack. I beseech the Border Control officers to be cautious, wary and prudent of our region's future. If you spot anyone suspicious, do not hesitate to warn me or our Delegate. Our regional power has diminished greatly due to this event. We need your support now more than ever.

As member of the Regional Congress and one of our region's defenders through our allied fortress unit PEFToN, I am deeply concerned about the state of affairs of the Philippines. I used to have at least four endorsements just a week before, now I only have our delegate's. If we cannot even cross-endorse each other, we would not make up for lost influence that Ariusgrad wielded, which is more than three times larger than the next native WA member. Whatever happened to our defense program? We were even doing overseas missions as recent as a month ago.

I suppose our current delegate being styled as "interim" meant it intends to hold an election. The Regional Congress has power to schedule this and designate which positions are up for election. I suggest we hold elections for both Delegate and Vice Delegate as soon as possible, while we are still receiving support from the defender coalition.

Yes, I intend to hold an election after the announcement of the appointment of an interim VD.

PHILIPPINES, March 22, 2021.

The WA Delegate/ Interim President announces the appointment of Secular state of the philippines as Interim Vice Delegate of the Philippines until a new Vice Delegate is elected. Secular state of the philippines will also continue serving as Defense Minister.

With the appointment of the Vice Delegate, the regional legislative body can now move forward. May I ask for the Regional Congress to convene and discuss calling an election for Delegate and Vice Delegate, providing a manner holding thereof

Well, you've only endorsed three people since you got admitted back, so it'd be unsurprising if some haven't noticed. I do hope they do soon. As for the overseas missions, I have no clue, and didn't know there were any missions ? Either way, one problem at a time we can figure that out later probably.

Greetings Philippines.

Thank you for the support, dear Ecnav Enitsuj. As elected Interim Vice Delegate, I hope I would serve this region to its best interest. Our primary concern as of this moment is to secure the stability of our regional security and administration. I implore everyone to participate in the upcoming election for the new leaders of the administration.

We're not forcing every WA member to endorse any of the officers, it's entirely optional but highly promoted. Besides, the aforementioned nations are categorically new so they may need to adjust to the complexity of the game.

If Regional Congress accepts, I propose that we schedule the election by next week, March 28. The Holy Week should be ample time to allow our residents to vote, and we can expect that people would have more leisure time at their hands during that time. This may mean a shortened campaign period, but this is a contingency and I believe we need to act fast in establishing the democratic foundation of our new administration. I understand. I only endorsed our core regional officers first. I will endorse our fellow member of Congress as well. I hope they do cross-endorse, with the delegate with the highest rate of course.

As per Article 7 of 2012 Constitution,

"Any candidate for Delegate and Vice Delegate must be a member of the World Assembly, and have been a resident of the Philippines for at least 300 days prior to election."

The following nations are eligible to run as Delegate and Vice-Delegate:
Ecnav Enitsuj

So I received this issue that begins with the premise:

"Now is the Holy Week of the religion of the Tranquility of Yellow. Seven days of divine celebration climax on the last day, when young men and boys self-flagellate in the streets in order to prove their devotion to their god. This display is always a bloody spectacle, and sometimes participants end up in hospital."

Me: DID YOU SEE PINOY HOLY WEEK OR SOMETHING?

As someone who is unaffiliated. I can't comprehend this notion of devotion. Wasn't St.Peter sentenced to death upside-down because he felt unworthy of being crucified the same manner Jesus was? If the father of their church refused to suffer the exact manner of suffering their acclaimed savior suffered, why do its adherents insist on doing so?

Reenactment doesn't equal devotion as per St. Peter's.

What do you think about suspending the residency requirement for the meantime, considering we are in a dire situation? Most of those eligible are currently in elected positions. And what of my proposal to carry it during the Holy Week? Congress has achieved majority approval for it.
