I usually just draw my own flags in GIMP (it's like a free photoshop knock-off) and I've been good with that, but if there's a site or app that can come up with some snazzy stuff, I'd be interested as well.
[ooc: My problem is that I have the artistic talents of a particularly untalented potato. In fact, in many ways, I think the potato might be better. I know what I'm looking for, a St Piran's Cross with a dragon and/or a star in one of the quarters, but I don't know how to do it. /ooc]
Perhaps you could use AI to help you design a flag? Have you looked at any AI design websites?

[ooc: Yeah, thank you anyway. That is the problem I kept running into, the AI kept slapping the dragon and star in the centre even when it was specified the quarter. That is when I didn't get images featuring US state quarters too. I think I may just have to shell out for an actual artist. At some point. When I get cash.
Does anyone have recs for someone who can do custom flags as a commission? I'd prefer amateur fan artists, because I want to support fans rather than corporates. /ooc]
I wish to make it clear. I have banned police wasting petrol in pointless police chases which just end up costing more in terms of collateral damage.

Usual Suspect report for today, Madrocea wins for lowest taxes. *checking the national bank balance and wincing painfully* Flipping the list upside down you'll see the highest tax burdens in United Nation Of Romnia, 
Lemmingtopias, The Holy Jand, and South Gabeland. Now admire their bullet trains and advanced world-class National Health Service systems. Stare aghast at Madrocea's 30-lane Hyperfreeways and omnipresent smog over most of their southern territory.
The current government actually hates the tax system that ties their hands. We have to find creative ways to make money. Large swathes of our land are still extraterritorial corporate enclaves where the government has zero power. Much of the new legislation has no teeth because there's not enough money to fund progressive programs. Our national healthcare system is substandard at best. Every new tax enacted is usually nullified in the courts or made irrelevant thanks to long-standing loopholes and exemptions for... basically anyone who knows how to fill in the right forms. So we really don't see it as big a boast as it looks to be. However the opposition party (those Commerce Party jerks) still controls enough of the Assembly and local governments (and Autonomous Corporate Zones of course) that stifles our progressive efforts.
But yay, lowest taxes!
Well, as a bordering nation, I'm glad it's you and not your rivals running the show down there. We don't get the smog from Alvanea over the hills in Namakiera like we used to every morning. Oddly enough, the Namakiera sunrises over the South Hill cypress forests just aren't as pretty as they were in the old days. Not a complaint, mind you--clearer air and healthier people in the borderlands is of far better benefit than stunning red and orange sunrises. Also, kudos on finally clearing up that Benzine spill over in the Sumai province that was messing up mine and Lemming's southern beaches. It's better to have you as a potentially unreliable ally (due to politics) than a greedy rival.

I feel that Jellyfish Elite Fighting Force would be a better fit for Atlantis' N-Day. Many imaginings of Atlantis include undersea kingdoms, so what would be a better natural ally than a Jellyfish Elite Fighting Force?
That's what I'm going with this year. I see the Rejected Realms and other long-allies of Atlantis are over there. Feel free to join whatever faction you wish, and good luck! I'm not engaging in mass puppet warfare this go around, as it seems they're still using re-captcha and I just can't do the clicky-bicycle-clicky-bus-clicky-streetlight thing for days without my ADHD taking me off the rails.
