Hi.
Ugh, I just got a telegram inviting me to join the region of Hell. Unfortunate.

Then again, they are calling themselves "Hell"

If they keep bothering you, you can ask them why they have such low self-esteem / see themselves as evil when people usually try to justify their own actions?

I keep on forgetting but we're going to have a debate on free speech tomorrow at 6:00 PM CST. Tg me if you want to join.

This region seems kind of dead. Maybe I could try to get more activity going by asking a daily question.
QotD:
Do you still regularly answer the issues your nation gets, and why/why not?

I do because trying to get your stats to match what you want your nation to be like is a unique challenge, and I want to take advantage of all the opportunities ns has.

I wanna stick it to the loser who made every single issue outcome ever sound exaggeratedly bad. But yes, I answer them, sometimes I look up each outcome.

Your nation is also rather young, so you have lots of time to change your stats.

But they left, ah well. I've noticed people tend to complain about websites being too quiet or 'dead,' but it's pretty funny when even discord has the vast majority of servers end up "dead" and inactive lolz

After well over a decade, I still do once or twice a week, when I have some downtime. Not daily, like I did when I started, but I'll likely never stop for good.

No I hate NS Stats. I have many real world named nations and regional world named nations, so I use real world stats as much as possible, which contrary to popular belief, is not always easy to find, and is often hard to find.

Why do you hate ns stats

Orlannn wrote:Why do you hate ns stats

Because they are not real stats, they are made up stats.

I have many made up named nations, so I can use NS stats, but I still hate to use made up stats out of thin air. If that's the case, than I can make up my own stats, and I hate it.

I have many real world and regional world named nations, like NS Greater Taiwan China, which covers China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, so I try to find the real land areas, population stats, GDPs exports and imports, tourists per nations and add them up.

But sources vary, so I have to make certain adjustments.

The stats depend on your decisions.

The stats depend on who made up the effects of the decisions and made up the stats.

Hello. I’m a puppet of Carolina Sur. Hope you’ll have me.

NS Greater Taiwan China looks up IRL information whenever possible and bases their nation off of that.

Regular NS stats are especially bad if player is going with a nation RP'ing/pretending to be a different era. Both Sci Fi and older (medieval, 1600s-1800s, modernist (1900s)) nations are all difficult to express properly through NS stats. So it makes sense to dislike them

I figure people who want to roleplay a nation should put in the effort to make it realistic based on actual information, whether it's more influenced by fictional settings, or based on real life information or history. There are people who claim that stories about dragons and wizards will never be "realistic," but those stories that actually are remembered and respected tend to have "rules" and ways the physics/world works that help them feel genuine and not something someone makes up as they go along

It's a shame we're locked out of 90% of active roleplay because we're Nationalists. I remember the first time I became this region's WA delegate I was invited (and in consequence kicked) from a server for WA delegates, simply because of the region I was from.

AWOO!!! AWOO!!! AWOO!!!

This, is, Volkisch Spartaaaa...thanking your region for the new embassy!

We represent the restoration of ancient Spartan values, such as the practices of eugenics and slavery.

Bro...
How is supporting literal slavery not against the rules here? Actually, wouldn't it be?

Is it? If so, one can't authentically represent ancient Sparta...a widely referenced culture in contemporary society. It was militaristic not for the sake of fighting foreign threats, but to keep its majority slave population in line. Are we cancelling Sparta now?

Well even if you want your Spartan nation to be historically accurate, you shouldn't support slavery OOC

Oh well ;)

If nothing else, it can provide the "mudsill" to a great society, while promoting equality within the intended constituency.

Guys is there about to be a nuclear war?

How does the mudsill work
