Fun!

I hate to suggest this, but... have you ever looked into German Federalism?

Yes, that's 3.5 legislatures, 4 governments and 3 judiciaries.

I recommend you do. Sixteen petty kingdoms, a.k.a. Federal States, with their own legislatures and governments, bound together by one over-arching government apparatus.

Had two tornadic systems go by my house over the span of 3 hours and had no power for almost 10 hours. I love living in tornado alley.

Ahh, so the German Empire, (1871-1919). I just recently learned that it had four kings, due to watching a YouTube video on who would be the kings of Germany today by Useful Charts.

Uh, no, I meant modern Germany... the BRD...

Ohh, will take a look to it. Thanks for the link!

The remnants of the old empire...

Also yes the parliamentary setup for the next 4 years is already set. By normal election and stuff. I just don't have silly election threads with polls where all the ppl inputting on the poll votes for either stalinists or fascists. :3

Meanwhile in NVI, the Irredentist War has caused elections to be deferred to 2026.

You're welcome.

The next elections on national level in the Free Lands happen, when an Elder dies, as it should be. Then, the members of his or her Tribe are asked to select a new one from a list of applicants, which may or may not has been vetted by the influential families of that Tribe.
Fun times.

Down here in Mervay... The next elections would be in 2026 if there is not an world ending crisis or something that postpone them.

I just noticed that at this stage most of SEA and Allies are involved in the gate incident globally ongoing, like only NVI, myself, Kranin and Mediama are pretty much keeping their untouched and dealing with other important affairs, or really untouched and with the popcorn in hand.

True. Though you will certainly be kept informed.
But if some of you really want, I am sure, that Joseon can be persuaded?

Considering how the Invite has been closed, I think I'll wait until next time like I said before. Unless a miracle happens, but it's certainly interesting how scientists will be having a field day with the readings only.

Oh, TRI will certainly share their results as much as the SDF thinks its viable. After all, they will have their own operation sooner rather then later.

Indeed and surely Camelot will want to try to reproduce the phenomenon as well, albeit ensuring they don't open a portal to a world full of eldrich abominations of course.

...why did I immediately think of tentacles...?
Either way, there is at least one occassion, where the Selkie borrowed a nuke from the Kyrenaians in regards to incidents with the SDF Rayshift Gate Center. ; )

Cthulhu is a massive influence, so it's understandable ; )
Oh dear... That must have been a crisis going on and the favour owned to Utica must be massive as well

Yes. It's all Cthulhu's fault.
Massive, yes, including a certain bit of participation.

Jesus... That must have taken a lot to cover up.

Mervay wrote:Jesus... That must have taken a lot to cover up.

Actually, no. If you blow something up with a nuke in another dimension, no one will ever need to know.

Mervay, I can ask Joseon if you'd like to tag along with us. I think he needs another portal like he needs another tumor, but I'm sure the company would be welcome on an existing one.

Sparing that- if you're interested, we could run a smaller closed RP between the two of us if you'd like, perhaps a state visit or something of the sort. Given, aside from specific parts like increased Merrie-Astares cooperation, I'm not treating the 'magical portals' part of the RP as my mainline canon.
