It's...John turn to post now?

Gavilain wrote:It's...John turn to post now?

It is, but that's the result of her not leaving.

I mainly had to add it because she took the time to think it out, explain her reasoning to Wilhelm, and then wait for him to start leaving before she does. This would start happening rapidly and Wilhelm will be starting to feel tired as well.

Gavilain wrote:“I suppose that’s true. It’s just the matter of getting the resources to make use of what we have learned.” Lucy knew she was downplaying her family a bit. She felt it was improper to flaunt one's strength out in the open. Especially when there might be ears in the shadows. A paranoia that has been heightened as a result of the dreams. Looking over at the many shelves she spoke again. “Is there anything you like to know to sate your curiosity?”

There was so much he wanted to know, she had invaluable information on other sectors that he may end up visiting in the future. Though with that being anywhere between now and the next few hundred years or so it certainly wouldn't be useful by then besides geographical knowledge and maybe stories of historical events. But for one he definitely wanted to know. "Well actually there i-?!"

Wabacha wrote:It is rather sudden when they hear a male voice cry out from outside the bookstore. His voice is muffled as they have to strain to decipher what he's saying through the solid wood door. But it's a voice that Lucy would not mistake. "Lucy! Lucy come quick, something attacked Lynn! She's hurt bad, I don't think she's going to make it! LUCY!" His last word is easily heard as the door is jarred open, letting both his wife and Wilhelm see how disheveled and worried he is. "Don't just stand there, come on!" He then let's go of the door and takes off out of sight and down the street.

Wilhelm may not know what's going on fully or who Lynn is, but the man's fear was palpable. There's a strong feeling in his gut that there's something he can do to help.

The sudden screaming from outside certainly caught the immortal off guard, he had no idea what was going on but it sounded dangerous, and the guy looked out of his wits worried... Something must have happened to this 'Lynn' person. If he's screaming this much it must be another one of the reincarnated folks that are bonded together. From the sounds of it it might be a life or death situation... If he could help then he definitely will.

I'm limited with healing magic but it should be more than enough to heal normal wounds.

Gavilain wrote:A cold snake went down her spine. Something didn’t sit right when she first heard the voice. Let alone the proclaimed doom that the voice carried. Watching him leave wide-eyed her pupils then shrunk in suspicion. “Mr. Frost.” She whispers to the man beside her. “Looks like I’ll have to request assistance. Something is not right here. If he was husband. Then he shouldn’t have been running perfectly fine nor should I be standing here right as rain.” She’ll let him connect the rest of the dots. Right now something was off. And regardless of what’s happening she needs to know who that thing is if it wasn’t her husband. When Wilhelm is on board she would start to move.

Though it would seem that it wasn't as clear cut as that, listening briefly to Lucy he got the general idea but that only made him more cautious. I didn't sense anyone... I hate being new to this life energy sensing. Either way his get was telling him that he would be useful in this situation.. Now he was wondering just how useful. He taps her shoulder with a brief nod as he aimed to follow her out that door and to wherever that man went. "I'm with you. Whatever's happening I'm here to help."

Because she knew instantly it wasn't her husband. Because if Lynn was badly injured both Lucy and Lincoln would be feeling it and if it was bad as it sound, be crippled enough to possibly not even move. Their bond gives them pain share. And a lot of other effects that the bond link causes. Such as thoughts and emotions no matter how far a part. Meaning Lucy would have heard Lynn's pain before he even got to the store.

Edit: Heck, Lucy would also find it sus that he went to the bookstore instead of going straight there because he could have easily called her through their link.

That's not my problem, the problem is that they're still in the bookstore growing more tired by the second.

That's good information to know for the future.

Yup, soulbond stuff is very ripe to produce a lot of angst and pain due to the common problems it has. So you're sure to have fun with it if you ever got ideas to make sad times.

A sudden wave of tiredness seems to hit the immortal before he could even reach the door to the shop, this unnatural fatigue was unusual. He shouldn't be getting tired. He definitely had more stamina than this after everything he's done. Though that thought wasn't amongst the myriad of thoughts about how tired he felt that overpowered the red flags springing up in his head.

Though an icy wind quickly ravaged the entire room, much to the nearby old man's dismay but much to their benefit since that would knock anyone wide awake. Just in case he would have to grab on to Lucy's arm incase the nicely timed spell didn't quite work. Why do I get the feeling someone is trying to hurry us along... He grit his teeth, foul play was thick in the air. He stepped out into the streets hopefully with Lucy in tow awake.

As soon as Wilhelm and Lucy step out into the street and the bookstore door clicked shut behind them, the growing urge to sleep vanished. It's a bizarre feeling to be barely standing upright (with how long they took to decide to live in a committee) to right as rain in the span of a second. As equally strange to see no sign of the fake Lincoln. Even though Wilhelm could sense the fake before, there was no sign of him now.

Two things they now notice after they have left the bookstore. The first, and to Lucy more importantly, they both can sense through their differing methods that Lincoln had completely disappeared. She can feel through her connection to her sisters that they had been searching not only for Lincoln, but also for her.

And second, something that only Wilhelm senses at first, the elderly man's life force inside the bookstore vanished seconds after the door closed behind them.

Unease emanate throughout her entire body. Something was wrong here. Without much thought to it she reached out through her bond with everyone. Panic and concern bleeding into it. Tell them that someone needs to get to the trucks and bring them out. Those were the best thing that could protect any of them. Physically they are piles of scrap, a falling tree is enough to crumble it like a can if magical energy is not directed to reinforce it. However, since scrawling alchemical symbols and runes across it. It was both a spiritual and mystical mobile fortress. Her eyes dart over to Wilhelm. Physically expressing that they need to get everyone together. As the saying goes. Divided they fall, united they stand. For them it was much more serious do to the sensitivity of their bond. Especially when they are this weak. She could sense her spouses at the house have went to the garage and started up the trucks so they are hopefully secure for now. Looking down the street to the other direction, thanks to how small the village is, she could see and feel two of her spouses leave the pub down the road. "That's Luna and Leni!" She spoke to Wilhelm as she gesture them over to which they moved almost instantly as her feelings move faster than her body can. Said bond was handy in also bringing others up to speed. Meanwhile she could feel that their three other wives have grouped together as well. Now they just need to find Lincoln to which they'll begin to look for.

The sudden rush of his weary tiredness fleeing so suddenly only served to cement the feeling of foul play, though that only increases s he no doubt couldn't feel the life force of the fake anywhere and whats more that he couldn't feel the soul of the Old man Brown back inside... Just what was going on here? Anxiety started to well up in his stomach that only mounted into a gnashing feeling that angered his patron, the feeling of hunger only getting worse inside of him, something here was strong enough to slip past his will and enforce drowsiness on him like it was nothing. It wasn't normal, familiar or alien.. Just different.

Was someone trying to hurry us along? Maybe... But something's wrong. Whoever is involved I can't sense them... I don't know what to even sense for.

His worries were everywhere at this moment, but one thing was for sure... His gut certainly wasn't wrong. Whatever was happening here was beyond the ability of these humans... He had to help them deal with this-

-And from the look Lucy was giving him she certainly wanted his continued help. Though he couldn't agree more with her sentiment, he had the best chance of helping them by keeping them together... Though he got the feeling that it wasn't going to be that plain and simple. He certainly hoped that he was wrong. Though there was a momentary thought of. 'Do they all have a name with the starting letter L?' but now wasn't the time for that as he kept vigilant as Lucy called over her other spouses towards them. He couldn't feel what was going with the connection, just the existence of it since it was fundamentally different than his existence.

"I can't feel the fake husband anywhere. I can't even feel the old man in the shop behind us anymore. Where are we meeting the rest of your family?" Introductions will have to wait for Leni and Luna at the moment, right now his attention was solely fixed on the souls he could sense of the family... If things kept going wrong he's going to have to use some of his 'pack' to locate the rest of the girls and get a view of the bigger picture in this town.

Nothing else in the town seems to be amiss, besides Lincoln's disappearance. The rest of the town was still there, a dense collection of souls for Wilhelm to sense. It was just the disappearance of the fake Lincoln who disappeared like the wind. And the old man, who didn't seem to vanish the same way.

Pretty heavy Kong bias at the moment from the trailers.
Im just hoping they dont ruin the established lore trying to give the two some sort of asinine established rivalry

If this level of spooky is enough to scare the boys to silence, I may have to rethink my next couple of posts.

Hehehe, well we're mostly taking a break. I got into a bit of a writing slump and I do need to flesh out my stuff so that the information is all there rather than adding it over time as the rp goes on.

Yeah restarting a few times will do that to people.

For a bit of good news, I started watching Jujutsu Kaisen today and it started to get revive my muse to do action/spooky rp again. So I'm not totally burnt out like before.
