Wow, the game was met with a bunch of surprises, folks! Two big events right at the beginning killed a whopping 40 of our tributes! Quite the bloody scene! Even I was surprised at how many of them just outright died hahahaha! And out of the 8 who remained, The United Peoples of Centrism managed to outlast the rest and climb to the top, become our champion for the Seventh Run! Congratulations!

oOh, Faction Cup! What...is it?
You may have seen various "World Cups" around NationStates, perhaps including our last one. Cool. Plonk in your name and some numbers, then the rest is done for you. All of it. Perhaps the number generator will give you a nice score. But that's all.
Now, may I introduce to you, the Laraniem Faction Cup. The on-site competition using real skill and strategy to win points for your FACTION.
How it works
Each competitor will create a nation (or puppet nation if you don't want to mess up your stats), then move it to Faction Cup. For each round, you'll be informed of the NationStates statistic you'll be competing against the other faction for. You'll have 24 hours to work on your nation, to try and build up those points. Once 24 hours are up, you'll be randomly selected to compete against a faction foe. Whoever wins the statistic battle gains a point for their faction. Faction with the most points by the end of the Competition, wins (hooray!)
