Well, I've clocked the main story line, and my highest level guy is level 77, West.
And it is the first time I've played a new pokemon game on a console in nearly 10 years, so don't feel too out of place, Dali or Hama.
V, she says that she'll go easy on you with her level 3 Purrion.
She says her highest level is 69 Monk, so it sounds like your fairly close to each other.
As for me, I remember when Pokemon cards first hit the market. I was at a Mall in the Seattle area, and saw this long line coming out from the Wizards of the Coast store. Lots of parents with their kids in line to be the first to get Pokemon cards. That would have been around '95.

The Rattata is a joke West :P that little guy is meant specifically for taking out trouble level 100s with great known and annoying tactics as Monk knows. If she would like to face off, I have an excellent team from Heart Gold in the mid sixities, or I can just fall back on my lovely Diamond/Platnium party :D
