Maybe increase health and welfare and stuff like that? Also, decrease death rate

Choose results which restrict business in favor of safety and good health, and against pollution and waste; invest in healthcare; do what you can to increase income, especially for low income earners; encourage healthy eating and other healthy habits. Environmental quality and civil rights are generally positively associated with higher average lifespans. There is no one surefire way to increase your stats on any given topic; it's just a matter of exercising good judgment.

Look at Russia's invasion of Ukraine. They have one of the largest armies in the world. Their economy is barely hanging on now, they've induced a depopulation crisis by driving away young educated ethnically Russian men, and the ruble is only staying afloat because the central bank is (in effect) legally cooking the books. Further, because of how irrational and foolish the invasion was, Finland and Sweden have finally broken centuries of neutrality to seek an alliance with Russia's opponents, a result that can only be classified as a disaster for Russia--and at this point it is quite possible that Russia will not only fail to take any new territory in Ukraine, but will actually lose the Crimean Peninsula and the Sevastopol military base.

As the great Sun Tzu wrote, "There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare." (The Art of War, ch. 2, Waging War.) Likewise, "Hence to fight and conquer in all your battles is not supreme excellence; supreme excellence consists in breaking the enemy's resistance without fighting." (Ch. 3, Attack by Strategem.)

Diplomacy is the art of breaking the opposition's resistance without fighting.

It's a joke, Jesus Christ

Totally didn't have to repeat the same message three times because I accidently left in an unrelated message.

Switzerland has been neutral the longest, but near the same time as Sweden due to the napoleonic wars

Wasn't switzerland invaded by napoleon?

Unintra wrote:Wasn't switzerland invaded by napoleon?

Well it's complicated actually Switzerland and Sweden are netural for the same amount of time. But finally Sweden broke this neturality.

Yeah, but Sweden entered the war willingly meaning both "broke" neutrality at the same time. Swiss neutrality being willingly broken in the napoleonic wars is odd because if you count them being invaded as no more neutrality then yeah they ended it but if not then Switzerland has been neutral longer then Sweden because Sweden joined the war on it's own judgement.

bro, i chose a problem of punishment with shame but i ended up putting a law of corporal punishment, i didn't want to do that.

Dependendo de como seria a punição por vergonha de certa maneira também seria punição corporal

Thinking about who might be the most neutral country is giving me a headache... what if we just agree that Antarctica is a country because it has its own flag emoji and that since it has never had a military and has never completely sided with any party in global politics that it is neutral and has been neutral since the formation of Earth, making it the most neutral country.

In other news, I'm now drugging my citizens so that if they get mad at me, I can take away their drugs.

Greetings everyone, a new recommendation just came out for the GA resolution: "Aquatic Cleaning Act"

Overview
This proposed resolution requires World Assembly member states to (1) "reduce and eventually eliminate aquatic pollution without compromising other ecosystems", and (2) "fund cleanup of waste within their aquatic ecosystems".

Recommendation
We find the wording of the resolution to be inadequate and unsatisfactory. The resolution does not consider such issues as the cost of "clean up", the timeline or feasibility of any action to "eliminate pollution", or even define what constitutes pollution or ecosystems.
For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against the General Assembly at vote, "Aquatic Cleaning Act".

This IFV Recommendation was written in collaboration with our World Assembly Legislative League partners.

As usual question's welcome! Also the sc recommendation is coming soon!

And! We're back! With a new SC recommendation. Now, this one's shorter than usual but i believe it's enough to convey the point across.

Ministry analysis:
This resolution seeks to enlighten the unique aspects of warzones, and declare their harmlessness to the Security Council

Ministry recommendation:
We believe that this resolution is unnecessary in the Security Council. As it merely declares what a warzone. Furthermore, besides recognizing the "non-threatening" nature of warzones. This has little if not no effect on member states.

For the above reasons, the WA minister of Balder hereby recommends a resolution AGAINST the SC resolution "On the Warzones"

Questions are encouraged!

do world assembly votes change your ranks
