The Constitution of Nerotysia - Preamble

The Fifth Constitution of Revolutionary Nerotysia

Preamble

Our Great December Revolution, our great leap forward into a new epoch of socialism, was born upon a mighty war against the despicable forces of bourgeois nationalism and imperialism, a war under which we workers, we proletarians and peasants and intellectuals, suffered a great burden of deadly struggle. Though the international bourgeoisie murdered and pillaged extensively in a gargantuan effort to snuff out the beginning of their end, we prevailed over them. Our revolution triumphed under the inspired and democratic leadership of our Revolutionary Communist Party, which marshaled the herculean bravery and strength of the proletariat and peasantry towards victory.

And then, upon the eve of our new socialist society, we workers gathered in the old city of Shynka to compose a document which was to organize and shape our politics and society, a document which enumerated the many noble objectives and ideals of our new society, a document which established a worker’s state which shall last through the ages, a document which itself marked a great turning point of the grand history of our species.

After achieving victory, our new worker’s state embarked on an ambitious program of economic and social transformation, launching our society into a new golden era of equality, efficiency, and independence. The Revolutionary Communist Party unified all the various peoples of the peninsula, extending a voice to every Republic and nationality in the Union and centralizing our society, thus expanding socialism even further. We workers reigned over our economy through our spontaneous worker’s councils, and through exploration of political and theoretical questions in our Revolutionary Communist Party. For only the second time in the history of mankind a socialist society was created.

Our socialist society once again demonstrated its strength during the Second Revolutionary War, when we achieved another historic and world-shattering victory over the forces of fascism and imperialism, and expanded the worker’s struggle more than ever before. This triumph established our great worker’s state as the preeminent force for socialism in the world, and greatly expanded our ability to advance socialism, democracy, and national liberation across the the world.

Then, our society found itself thrust into a profound position. We had achieved unmatched prosperity and bounty under our socialist system, and enjoyed the fruits of our worker’s struggle. However, we also faced new and dangerous threats to our system, and to the worker’s struggle across the world.

Attacking these threats, we furthered the cause of progress through the reform of our system, reducing the centralism that threatened the very core of our socialism, and returning control of the means of production to the workers and setting the stage for the last gasp of capitalism, and the establishment of worldwide socialism.

We then embarked on a second program of socialist reform, innovatively applying market principles to our socialist economy in order to spur increased growth and technological progress. This shall allow us to support the international worker’s struggle in ever-more-powerful and forceful ways, paving the way for the final collapse of capitalism and the last stage of socialism, after which communism shall be achieved.

However, we must continue to reaffirm our great revolutionary traditions, as well as creatively apply our scientific thinking and socialist organization to ever newer and larger challenges. Our socialist society, which is prosperous but not decadent, progressive but not impractical, powerful but not tyrannical, and efficient but not exploitative, must face challenges head-on, and always strive to defeat the great serpent of international capitalism and imperialism and ensure that true liberty and equality triumph across the world, just as they have triumphed in our peninsula.
