Citizenship Act of Singapore
An act to Regulate Citizenship in Singapore, to provide a Mechanism for the gaining of such Citizenship and a Mechanism for the removal of such Citizenship
PREAMBLE: Whereas it is recognised that in a democratic region there must be a vehicle for expression for its lawful residents, and that there must be a means to identify lawful residents from those from external regions that may seek to undermine our sovereignty, such that the vehicle for expression may be guaranteed for lawful residents;
BE IT ENACTED by the Premier of Singapore, with the advise and consent of the residents of Singapore, as follows:
SECTION 1: INTERPRETATION
For the purposes of this Bill, the following terms are defined as such:
Premier: The nation that is elected by a majority of citizens to serve as WA Delegate of the region of Singapore
Citizen: Nations that are afforded various privileges in Singapore as a consequence of fulfilling the various criteria mentioned hereafter
Parliament: The body of citizens of Singapore, which serve as the supreme governing body of Singapore
SECTION 2: CRITERIA FOR GAINING CITIZENSHIP
A nation may gain citizenship through some of the following means:
Being a prior citizen of Singapore, with the nation being listed on this list
Becoming a citizen of Singapore after the enactment of this Act, by fulfilling the following:
Maintained WA status in Singapore Island and endorsed the WA Delegate of Singapore Island for at least 3 months continuously (with the exception of any forcible removal from the region by external hostile forces, then which the count will be suspended during the period of removal, and resumed with the nation's reentry to Singapore Island
Has no prior raider affiliations
Contributes to the RMB of either Singapore or Singapore Island at least once a week
Has the approval of a majority of citizens to gain citizenship excluding abstentions
Has the approval of a majority of citizens to gain citizenship excluding abstentions, even if unable to fulfil all the criteria of the second means of gaining citizenship
SECTION 3: RIGHTS OF A CITIZEN
A citizen may:
Take part in the full decision-making process of the Parliament of Singapore
Run for the position of Premier and other key governmental positions such as Ministers
Have the right to remain in the region of Singapore without being forced to leave whilst continuing to hold citizenship in Singapore
Enjoy the full protection of the laws of Singapore
SECTION 4: REMOVAL OF CITIZENSHIP
A nation may be stripped of their citizenship if:
They are found to have conspired with external forces to undermine the sovereignty of Singapore, which would have the result of preventing Parliament from using its powers
Parliament has decided with majority vote excluding abstentions to strip such nation of its citizenship
SECTION 5: COMMENCEMENT OF ACT
This Act shall come into force immediately upon the approval of the Premier of Singapore, Bathor
