Welcome to Mordor
Mordor is an active region with a population of over 200 nations, ranging from seasoned NS veterans to interested newbies. With one of the most welcoming communities in all of NationStates, you'll find yourself fitting right into Mordor.

As soon as you join Mordor, you will find an abundance of things you can do on our NS page alone. On our World Factbook Entry, you will find plenty of information that may be useful to you. We have our RMB, where casual discussion takes place among denizens, as well as allies. You can also participate in polls, with topics that range from regional affairs to casual, funny questions. But what do you do if you want more? If you want to become a bigger part of Mordor, and perhaps NationStates itself?
Becoming a Denizen
Denizenship is crucial to anyone looking to make an impact in Mordor. It is the first step that our most active and influential members have taken. How does one apply for denizenship? Simple!

Perhaps one of the most important parts of Mordor is the Great Assembly, a legislative body consisting of regular denizens, like you! All denizens are allowed to participate in the Assembly, where regional planning, legislation drafting and discussion, and elections take place. The assembly is run by Gothmog, the presiding officer who is elected by the denizens. If you are interested in legislation drafting, make sure to check the Assembly out!
Roleplay
Mordor is a region that offers a lot of roleplaying. There is a forum with many RPs, open to any interested denizens.
Forces of Mordor
Interested in defending founderless regions from external threats? The Forces of Mordor are for you! One of the most prestigous NS defender armies around, the Forces of Mordor are led by the Dark Lord, who valiantly commands the army during operations against raiders. Think you have what it takes to become part of the Forces of Mordor? Apply on the regional forums, and await approval from the Dark Lord himself!
Culture
In addition to many interregional festivities hosted by our allies, Mordor has many events that are sure to interest you. Avatar of the month is a monthly avatar contest, where contestants show off their best flags and avatars according to a topic. Mordor Awards are hosted every december, with awards being handed to denizens with the most votes in a category. Many more events await!
