[Wiki] Banknotes of the 5th Chostelese đồng

The banknotes of the 5th Chostelese đồng were first issued by the State Bank of Chostea on the 10th February 2016 after the collapse of the Asian Union and subsequent withdrawal of Chostea from the Asi monetary union.

The Asi

The Asi was officially adopted on the 1st January 2015, shortly after Chostea entered the Asian Union. It shared this currency with several other nations.

The 5th đồng

Due to the dissolution of the Asian Union, Chostea returned once again to using the đồng after a reevaluation decided the 4th đồng was no longer a viable currency. The 5th đồng, at time of introduction had a conversion rate of 10,000 4th đồng, 0.5 Asi, and US $0.0559 per đồng (US $1 per 17.88đ). The State Bank of Chostea issued polymer notes with the introduction of the 5th đồng. All 5th đồng are printed on polymer, and Chostea is one of the only states in the world to have adopted polymer banknotes for all denominations of the currency's banknotes.
