Noble Titles Bill

The Noble Titles Bill will enact into law the procedures for granting a noble title to Citizens of Callista
Section 1

Noble titles are defined as an official title given out to an eligible citizen of Callista that will be entirely honorary in nature and will not give their recipient any official authorities. Eligibility requirements are that they possess Callistan citizenship (full or honorary), have not CTE'd at the time of reception of nobility status, and have no ongoing bans. Unbanned nations are eligible for a Title.

Section 2

There will be three default different noble titles:

i. Prince or princess shall be awarded to nations who have served or are currently serving as the Prime Minister of Callista, whether in a full term or interim capacity. Nations receiving the title may indicate whether they wish to be granted Prince or Princess.

ii. Grand Duke shall be awarded to eligible former and currently serving Regional Officers of Callista, however it will only extend to nations who serve in currently existing positions.

iii. Honorary Marshal for citizens who have protected Callista or Callista's historical regions

Section 3

A Noble Titles Committee shall be set up, consisting of five members who are appointed by either the Tsar or Tsarevich of Callista, to officiate the granting of noble titles to citizens. The Committee shall be responsible for determining if a citizen is worthy of Nobility status, and revoking Titles.

Section 4

Custom title names may be granted to nations that the Committee deems worthy, and may not be in a vulgar or insincere manner and must be approved by the nation receiving the custom title. Nations receiving a custom title name must meet one of the three required Nobility classes before being granted a custom title.

Section 5

A title may be revoked when a nation is banned from Callista or becomes deleted by the moderation team. Nations that CTE after receiving a title and nations that move regions after receiving a title will continue to possess their title, however nations that have CTE'd or moved before the passing of this bill are not eligible.

Section 6

Nations may hold as many titles as possible, however when being referred to in official documentation only the highest ranking title shall be used (for example if a nation is both a Prince and a Grand Duke, then they will be referred to only as a Prince).

Section 7

A dispatch shall be created that will enumerate all current nations with titles. Each nation who holds a title will have their own table and section that lists all held titles, their name, flag, and crown.

Section 8

Nations who have served as a Prime Minister and reside in a historical or affiliated region of Callista are eligible to continue to have a title even without Callistan citizenship, however this does not extend to Grand Duke or Honorary Marshal.
