PREAMBLE:
To allow Ministers to have more than one Deputy Minister, giving newcomers more access to executive office and integrate them in the region's government: there can already be more than one Deputy Speaker & Chair, and the Executive should offer the same opportunities as Congress;
Also, recognizing the need to continue the necessary changes to L.R. 060 Deputy Minister Modernization Act as previously planned,

Amends LR 060's sections respectively to read as follows,

  • Section I - Each Minister shall have the ability to select a Deputy Ministers for their respective Ministry.

    • I. The Prime Minister must approve of all Deputy Minister selections made by their respective Ministers.

    • II. A Deputy Minister can be removed by the Prime Minister or their respective Minister for any reason. The Prime Minister may not appoint Deputies on a Minister's behalf; they may only reject and approve Deputy selections.

    • III. If a Minister has more than one Deputy Minister, then one must be named Senior Deputy Minister.

  • Section III - The Prime Minister shall have the ability to name the (Senior) Deputy Minister as the Interim Minister of their respective Ministry if the Minister is inactive or neglecting their responsibilities

Adds Section V to Article I,

  • Section V - All Ministers have the ability to give responsibilities and duties to their respective Deputy Minister in daily and long term operations of the Ministry.

Removes Article II in its entirety; renumbers any other articles and sections appropriately.
