THE TREATY OF TEHRAN

The strategic importance of the cooperation and relationship between the Empire of Iran and the United Kingdom of the Benelux developed through extensive, comprehensive mutual dialogue and negotiations. The Empire of Iran and the United Kingdom of the Benelux come together to further expand the strategic cooperation and prosperous friendship between our people and nations in the effort of strengthening diplomatic, economic, security, and cultural relations. Through extensive negotiated agreements and thorough diplomatic communications, the United Kingdom of the Benelux and the Empire of Iran hereby sign the Treaty of Tehran as the foundation and framework for the present and future developments of a productive, prosperous alliance and partnership. Per the guidelines of the Treaty of Tehran, both nations have come in agreement for the development and gradual implementation of the following arrangements:
- The establishment of a strategic defense alliance for expedited arms deal between the United Kingdom of the Benelux and the Empire of Iran - The usage of Iranian port facilities located in the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman for the enhancement of Iranian defense and direct maritime reconnaissance - The establishment of a technology sharing/research organization/program between the United Kingdom of the Benelux and the Empire of Iran - Benelux Special Forces to form a training and preparedness partnership with Iranian Special Forces and Security Forces to ensure our special forces are the best trained and specialized in the Middle East over time Through the signed agreement, the Empire of Iran and the United Kingdom of the Benelux hereby walk in alignment of regional strategy, the promotion of the international order based on the rule of law, the recognition of the importance of the Persian Gulf, and overall transparency for the sustaining of a permanent alliance.
