Military intervention in Mexico
What once seemed like a silly proposal became reality today. The ambassador of Mexico requested in front of the senate military assistance to take on the cartels. This comes after a multinational coalition of American states pulled out of Mexico. The senate has greenlit military assistance and in the coming days, training staff and armaments will be transferred. Military deployment will begin in 3 months.

Technical malfunction on Sprog
The largest social media platform in our country has suffered the longest outage since its launch in 2016. The platform was out for almost the entire day, the outage was caused by a coding error, that was caused by the latest update to the platform. Technical staff have fixed the error and the platform is now up and running again.

New trade deal in the works with Lebanon
The minister of economic affairs and trade announced today in a Sprog post and in a media interview. The deal is meant to boost relations between our nations and create mutually beneficial outlets for this pursuit. Lebanon has been struggling economically for the last few months now and this deal can possibly avert famine concerns. The details of the deal are unknown, what is known is that the deal is pretty much confirmed.

Twitter may be banned from Euraziea
The platform’s owner announced that he was warned by our government to conform to laws, after a breach was found. The law is that any social media platform must share personnel info of citizens with security agencies, but twitter refused to do this. The government issued a warning that it will first issue a massive fine, followed by the banning of operations within Euraziea.

Ministry of Defence warns for noise disturbance
Tomorrow a massive military practice operation will start near Berlin and the ministry has issued a sound warning in the area, citing the explosions of ammunitions and ordinance as potential disturbances. People are asked to avoid marked areas, but everyone can go about their day as usual.

The Weather
Rain, rain and more rain. A low pressure front spreads across the whole country making weather unpredictable, lots of rain is expected in the Benelux and the Isles, snow in the North with the occasional snow storm propping up here and there.
