The National Television Board (NTV), officially known as the Sridonian National Television and Communications Board (SNTCB), is the main state-owned public broadcaster in the United Federation of Sridonia. It consists of 10 owned/operated stations, along with 260 affiliated-stations across the nation. It also consists of six different channels which broadcast a variety of content on a 24-hour basis. NTV was founded in 1940 to serve as the main communication between the government and the Union Defense Force during World War II, and was opened to the public in 1947. It is headquartered in Qasokna, the capital of Sridonia.

NTV is the largest television broadcaster in the United Federation, and, until 1979 and the privatization of the Sridonian media, was the largest broadcaster of news within the nation’s borders. Its 6 channels broadcast a variety of programming to more than 350 million viewers in seven different languages (depending on what language the viewer chooses when deciding their television plan). NTV is operated by the Federal Communications Authority, which reports directly to the Sridonian Department of Media.
