New Birth Act NBA 2022 <LAW>

New Birth Act 2022 (Herein NBA-ACT 2022)

Defines a “newborn” to a family as any child under the biological age of three at the time of adoption or birth.

Provides from Treasury Funds - $9000 per newborn child as an immediately dispensed tax refund advancement & authorizes the family up to three months of paid or unpaid vacation time (payment at businesses discretion)

Protects a families right to maternity care leave for a period of three years. No more than three months per parent per year (a total of six months usable time) intended to be used to allow one parent to be home at all times for six months of the year.

Provides subsidy to day care & educational services specializing in early childhood so parents are at no time required to pay more than $350 per quarter of the year in childcare only IF the parents meet criteria of “financially resource limited”

A family is considered resource limited if their income is 150% of or lower than 150% of the national poverty line.

A severely resource limited family must be provided free childcare which shall be paid from the localities schooling funds & should use existing school infrastructure for service provision.
