• Join our Discord – Discord is the region's primary form of communication. You can chat and hangout with almost anyone in the region on our server. Notable Union members like the Founder and President are available there. Joining Discord is very easy. To do so, follow the instructions listed in this article. Our server invite is this link here.

• Join our Forum – The forum serves as the center for official regional business. From government activities to ambassador requests, from forum games to citizenship applications, many of the Union's core processes take place on the forum. Create an account on our forum. Introduce yourself in Liberty Square and participate in fun games under Forum Games.

• Sign up for Citizenship – Citizenship is paramount to civic participation in the Union. By becoming a citizen, you open the door to a world of opportunities such as voting for elected officials and running for office. To file for citizenship, apply here.

• Visit the Regional Message Board – The Regional Message Board is the Union's biggest asset. Many unique discussions and important debates take place on the RMB. Make sure to check it out!

• Join Union Roleplay – Union roleplay consists of a community of citizens who act out their national interactions with other nations on a regional map! The Union has two magnificent roleplays to explore - one a realistic world with an emphasis placed on the United Nations, and one a futuristic solar system where Mars is experiencing colonization while Earth battles climate change. • Participate in the UDS World Assembly Program – Joining the World Assembly and endorsing your fellow Unionists can land you awards and prestige! To gain more information and participate, click here.

Beyond the aforementioned ways to get involved, the Union also has political institutions in which players can advance their political careers. Check out the below institutions to jumpstart your career today!

• The Ministry of Foreign Affairs –Our Ministry of Foreign Affairs is one of the key Ministries in our government, responsible for establishing and maintaining the Union’s respected interregional influence. As a staff member, you will be working as an Ambassador, serving as our primary point of contact and upholding the Union's reputation abroad. Service in the Ministry is very useful for political careers, and you are certainly guaranteed to form lifelong friendships as an Ambassador! To join our diplomatic fleet, click here.

• The Ministry of the Census – The Ministry of the Census is the center of citizen management for the region. The Ministry is tasked with managing citizenship applications, verifying citizenship for Union Elections, keeping records of the Union’s deep history, managing Union recruitment, maintaining Union law records, and so much more! As a staffer, you’ll be responsible for continuing this Ministry’s integral mission in whichever way interests you. If you wish to apply for this Ministry, please click here.

• The Ministry of Culture–The Ministry of Culture is the Union’s premiere entertainment provider. Its staff members are dedicated to providing opportunities for the Union’s members to talk with one another and develop bonds with each other, allowing for the Union to be more cooperative and more enjoyable. Currently, the Ministry hosts games and trivia nights for everyone as well as Regional Message Board polling and conversation starters. • The Ministry of Defense– The Ministry of Defense commands the Union of Democratic States Armed Forces or "UDSAF." The UDSAF is the Union's military, dealing with threats domestic and foreign. As the Union’s fighting force, those enlisted in the UDSAF are among some of the brave souls who defend other regions with our allies against those looking to invade them. UDSAF members are some of the Union’s best, entitled to privileges that are exclusive only to UDSAF personnel, such as earning military honors. • The Ministry of Roleplay–The Ministry of Roleplay is a Ministry which oversees and moderates our excellent aforementioned regional roleplays. Our roleplay servers area place where anyone interested can roleplay as a nation, both for realistic and futuristic ones. • The Senate–Is legislative work more your forte? If so, the Senate may interest you. Between creating new laws and repairing old ones, the Union’s legislative branch has often been one of our busiest. Elections occur every 2 months, so newcomers to the region are guaranteed a chance to prove their metal. Whilst newcomers wait for the next election, they can brush up on the Senate’s rules and our laws so they’re properly equipped to win in the next election. • The World Assembly Advisory Board–the World Assembly Advisory Board, or WAAB, is the institution which advises our World Assembly Delegate in regards to voting on certain World Assembly resolutions. Participation in the Board allows for further involvement in the regional WA scene whilst allowing you to play an integral role in deciding the Union's vote.
