Geortina's Colonisation Effort

Lorraine Driot, the 9th and 11th president of Geortina tabled a discussion on colonisation to the parliament in the Palace of Gallingham to gather resources and aid Geortina's ever growing economy. Soon after, a vote was held about this motion, where it passed by a majority landslide (167-33). It is believed that most of the colonisation effort will appear on nearby Ryline Islands; military vessels are seen getting prepared in ports as this situation escalates.

Opposers to this bill are mainly libertarians and are protesting on the streets, whereas large Geortinan corporations are in support of this. Despite the protests, parliament has passed the vote and is already preparing.

Reports say that this effort will significantly help the Geortinan economy and its attempt to lower its income tax. The Geortinan economy is expected to skyrocket after the colonies have been established.
