The anthem of East Calmaran is lyrically inspired by "March of the Volunteers", the Chinese anthem, the anthem of East Calmaran is titled "March of the Calmaran Confederacy. The March was written by Sir Felic Carditch during the East Calmaran Revolutionary war as a morale-boosting tune. After the war, one Thomas Wetherford wrote lyrics for it, a year after a referendum was held to choose an official anthem, in which "March of the Calmaran Confederacy" won by a land slide
